Amazon Prime Now delivers your tailgate needs to the 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium for free

Amazon’s Prime Now has been available in San Francisco since the free same-day delivery option debuted in May of last year. The service, however, is more about answering our innate need for instant gratification rather than some specific purpose. That’s changing thanks to a new partnership with the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.

The team partnered with Amazon to allow its delivery trucks fulfill orders from tailgaters during any of the eight home games the team plays. This could be a useful feature, considering the fact that once you’re on the lot you can’t leave, and unless you’re super organized, you’ll probably forget something.

Choosing tailgate delivery is pretty simple. You’ll need to enter the zip code and then address of Levi’s Stadium (4900 Marie P DeBartolo Way, Santa Clara, CA 95054 if you need it). From there, you inform Amazon which lot you’re in, as well the closest parking flag number. Within two hours you’ll have what you need, and for an extra $8, you can get it in under any hour.

According to the 49ers, the service is only available in three lots, Red Lot 1, Green Lot 1, and Blue Lot 1, but this is where most tailgaters will set up. The service is available from 8 a.m. to midnight, so whether you’re getting there super-early to start the party or staying well after the game ends you should be covered.

“Amazon Prime Now is really the only company that could deliver the kind of options and reliability that our fans need on game day,” the team’s partnership coordinator Brent Schoeb said in a statement.

So if you’re going to the game this upcoming this Monday night against the L.A. Rams, go and give it a shot. Amazon is also offering $10 off a Prime Now order with the code “10PRIMENOW” at checkout, the company said.
