Digital Trends’ Jake Rossman to speak about DT Live programming at Brandlive

PORTLAND, Oregon — September 25, 2018: Digital Trends announced today its partnership with leading live video platform Brandlive. As a pioneer in enterprise streaming services, Brandlive will engineer the premium live video experience behind Digital Trends’ new video concept, DT Live.

“Digital Trends’ ambitious move into live video programming is incredibly exciting and we could not be more delighted to be their partner for this adventure,” says Brent Hieggelke, head of marketing at Brandlive. “With cord cutting now rampant, new video networks are going to be created online natively.  With Digital Trends’ large audience already in hand, this move can really create some excitement in the digital media and advertising world.”

Jake Rossman, Digital Trends’ head of live content, will be speaking at the 2018 Brandlive Customer Summit about DT’s live video content plan. Rossman will speak on a panel called Here, There, and Everywhere: The Explosion of Live Video Use Cases, which will explore the recent boom in live video and how it’s changing digital content production. The Brandlive Customer Summit is a networking event for Brandlive customers and live-video experts to build community and share best practices. The Customer Summit takes place at The Evergreen in downtown Portland on Wednesday, September 26, with a welcome reception Tuesday evening, September 25. Together with his fellow panelists, Rossman will address how brands can take advantage of the instant feedback live video affords, as well as look at Digital Trends’ Amazon Prime Day broadcast as a case study for affiliate and e-commerce content.

Following the panel, attendees can join Rossman for Going Huge When Going Live: Digital Trends Makes a Big Move, a one-on-one fireside chat with Hieggelke, as they address finding better ways to engage audiences and create a visual connection between editorial coverage and how users are consuming content. They will also have some hints about their unique slate of programming launching later this year.
