Take your tech on the road with the Thor Sequence smart Class B RV

Tech-centric van-style RVs can enhance road trips, tailgates, and weekend getaways. New technologies in the Thor Motorcoach Sequence 20L Class B RV aid setup, monitor vehicle operations from a single control panel, and help you stay in touch with the outside world if you can’t totally cut yourself off.

The nearly 21-foot long 2020 Sequence van is built on a RAM Promaster 3500 XT rear-wheel-drive window van powered by a 3.6-liter 280 horsepower V6 engine with a peak 360-pound-feet of torque. There’s a 24-gallon gas tank, and the van can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

The Sequence sleeps two people and seats four. There’s a wet bath with a toilet, shower, and sink plus an outside shower. The small kitchen has a two-burner electric stove, a convection microwave oven, a single-door refrigerator, sink, Euro-style cabinetry, and solid surface countertop.

Thor’s wireless Rapid Camp+ control system is a single-point touchscreen display. From that panel, you can control the leveling jacks, generator, patio lights, and more. A popup device connector stack on the kitchen counter with AC and USB ports serves as a central point to plug in and charge your devices.

If you park at a campground with utilities, the Sequence has a 30-amp detachable shoreline power cord, but there’s also a standard Onan RV QC 2800 gas generator and a 1,000-watt power inverter. An 11,000 BTU power-saver low-profile air conditioner is on the roof along with a 190-watt solar panel connected to a solar charge controller.

Onboard capacities include a 20-pound LPG tank, 26-gallon freshwater tank, 13.3-gallon gray water tank, and a 13.5 gall0n waste water tank. Two Group 31 AGM house batteries are on board. A Truma Combi Eco Hydronic 14,300 BTU furnace and water heating system keeps you warm and the water hot.

Standard equipment on the Sequence includes a 12-foot Thule power patio awning with LED lighting, Thule roof ladder, Thule roof rack system, and a Thule bike rack on the rear door.

Standard entertainment features include a 24-inch TV in the living area, with and electronics cabinet with HDMI cable and USB charging ports plus a combination Winegard Connect 4G/Wi-Fi/digital TV antenna. The electronics cabinet is both cable TV and HD/DSS satellite-ready.

There are two different Sequence floor plans. The wet bath is in the rear with both plans, but the sleeping/living and kitchen areas differ. The van’s driver and passenger seats swivel to face the living area, and a flip-up table can serve as a table or desk for the passenger seat. The Sequence list price ranges from $91,875 to $93,125, depending on the floor plan.

The announcement comes just as the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump has signaled it wants to cancel much of the existing spending on EV initiatives.

2025 Audi Q6 e-tron front quarter view.

It took the established German luxury car brands a while to respond to the Tesla Model S, but Audi was quicker off the line than most. As rivals BMW and Mercedes-Benz are just now completing full lineups of EVs, Audi is moving into its next generation.

The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron is an electric SUV aimed at the middle of the luxury market. Audi sees the Q6 e-tron as an electric equivalent to its bestselling Q5, and it faces plenty of direct competition from EVs like the Acura ZDX, Cadillac Lyriq, and Mercedes EQE SUV.
