If you’re trying to get fit and a smartwatch is more than you need, then you should check out a fitness tracker. These small wristbands offer a suite of fitness-tracking tools, as well as health and wellness features. They also sync to your phone, allowing you to analyze your fitness data and receive basic notifications. The most attractive feature is their size — trackers are so small and lightweight that you hardly even know you are wearing them. They also tend to be significantly less expensive than smartwatches. making them an excellent gift.

The Fit stands out thanks to its AMOLED screen, which provides plenty of vivid colors. It also offers a myriad of workout plans, accurate heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking.

There’s even a few fitness trackers for kids — the Garmin Vivofit Jr and the Fitbit Ace 2. These easy-to-use fitness bands sync to a parent-controlled app that lets kids change clock faces, send messages, and join fitness challenges with trusted friends and family. Both the Vivofit Jr and the Ace 2 can track a child’s sleeping patterns, as well as their daily activity level, to help keep them active and healthy both day and night.
