OnePlus’ first event for 2020 is only a matter of hours away, which means we’re oh-so close to knowing what the Flagship Killer has in store for us this year. The event is due to kick off at 8 a.m. PT on Tuesday, April 14 — and we’re expecting to see the company take the wraps off three new OnePlus phones.

That’s right, OnePlus is set to release more phones at once than ever before, with the OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8, and OnePlus 8 Lite rumored to be seeing the light of day during the announcement. There’s a lot to get excited about with the new OnePlus phones, including incredibly fast wireless charging, a 120Hz refresh rate, and the usual specs bumps to boot.

It turns out it’s very easy to watch the OnePlus launch event, which is being streamed live on YouTube. The official OnePlus YouTube channel has the livestream, and you’ll be able to tune in at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET to watch the event unfold live. If you’re the forgetful sort, you can click the Set reminder button, and YouTube will send you a notification when the event begins.

YouTube isn’t the only way to watch the event unfold, as there are other ways to keep up to date. OnePlus will also be broadcasting the event on Twitter, and you can check out the official OnePlus Twitter account for updates as they happen. OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R globally, but rumors suggest it might have another phone up its sleeve. Leaks point to a smaller "OnePlus 13 Mini" on the horizon.

It was initially teased in December by Digital Chat Station, a reliable Chinese leaker. Specs for this compact powerhouse have now surfaced from the same contact (via Android Headlines). It is believed that the OnePlus 13 Mini could be a rebranded Oppo Find X8 Mini, a device that launched in China last year.

For decades, smartphones have progressively grown larger, and subsequently, so have tablets, and the lines between big phones and small tablets have grown progressively more blurry. Some companies make smaller phones or tablets, but these are exceptions to the rule.

A case in point is Samsung’s tablet portfolio. Samsung debuted the Galaxy Tab S10 series in October but dropped a replacement for the regular Galaxy Tab S9. The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra pick up where their predecessors left off, but if you’re a Galaxy Tab S9 user, you’ll either have to buy the FE series or switch to an alternative.
