Spooky season is right around the corner, and the folks at HBO and Max intend to throw a monster mash that will impress the most jaded of every ghoul and goblin out there. But the streamer has more than just tricks and treats to dish out in October.

In addition to finally premiering the long-delayed Stephen King adaption Salem's Lot, the streamer will debut the original series The Franchise, which takes a comedic look into the making of a big-budget superhero movie. Other notable additions to the programming slate include the A24 drama Tuesday with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and the streaming debut of MaXXXine, the final chapter in the X trilogy.
