Amazon Slashes Price of MacBook Air for Cyber Week — SAVE $200

Macbook Air
Riley Young/Digital Trends

All this week you’ll find terrific deals on electronics, with retailers extending their sales beyond Cyber Monday and into an entire Cyber Week. These Cyber Week deals include some cracking prices you won’t want to miss out on, like this killer MacBook deal we had to bring to your attention right away. Over at Amazon, you can save $200 on a brand new MacBook Air, with $150 slashed from the price plus an extra $50 off at the checkout, bringing the price down from $1,000 to $800.

If you’ve been wanting a new laptop then the MacBook Air is one of the hottest laptops available right now. In our MacBook Air review, we praised its slick user experience and excellent keyboard, with only some reservations about its price compared to other laptops in the $1,000 and up category. But with this $200 off deal at Amazon, it makes a compelling case for the MacBook Air to be your next laptop, and this is one of the best Cyber Week MacBook deals we’ve seen.

The MacBook Air is a favorite choice for those who travel or work away from home often and need to carry a powerful but light laptop with them. It’s a solid choice for students and freelancers as well as the many of us who are now working from home and need the functionality of a full Mac but in a more convenient and portable package. The particular version that’s on sale at Amazon comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GM of storage, and has a 13.3-inch, high-resolution Retina display, making it suitable for creative professionals of all kinds.

If you’re not convinced about the MacBook Air, there are plenty of other Amazon Cyber Week deals available, including Cyber Week Apple deals, so you could also look into the MacBook Pro 13-inch or the larger MacBook Pro 16-inch.

If you do want a new laptop but a MacBook Air doesn’t appeal to you, then you’ll find a bunch of other laptops still on sale for Cyber Week. To get inspired about what else is out there, check out some of our favorite deals listed below:

It’s called Upgraded, and the brand collaborates with Apple Premier Partners, meaning officially recognized sellers. That results in hassle-free upgrade support for you whenever you're ready. Go check it out for yourself, or keep reading to learn how it all works.
