The LS-10i includes internal video processing and up-scaling while the LS-10d includes an external video processor that will offer the same processing and upscaling as well as IR and RS-232 control.  The external, rack-mount style video processor is intended to make retro-fit installations an easy proposition.

Both projectorswill offer Runco’s new mew CineGlide lens solution that enables a motorized, mechanical 2:35:1 anamorphic lens to move in front of the standard lens to offer accurate scope reproduction. That means no more black bars on the top, bottom or sides of the image.

The LS-10i and LS-10d will be available in a wide range of colors and customizable designs to match just about any decor. The LS-10i will be available in October at a MSRP of $21,995 and the LS-10d arrives in December at a MSRP of $26,995.

Samsung’s 120-inch smart 4K projector is $1,500 off right now
Samsung Premiere UST Projector.

It's that time of the year: home theater upgrade season. If you've been itching to get a bigger TV, a better sound system, or reinvent your TV room entirely, Black Friday deals are the time to do it. You may be tempted to wait until November 25, but Walmart Black Friday deals have actually started already. If you want to re-create the cinema experience at home, or you just can't find a TV big enough, you might just need a massive, high-quality projector. Right now Walmart has Samsung's The Premiere 120-inch 4K Smart Laser Projector for just $1,997. That's over $1,500 off its usual price of $3,500.

Why you should buy The Premiere 4K Smart Laser Projector
The most important thing about Samsung's The Premiere projector is its picture quality. Any projector could theoretically make a 120-inch projection on your wall, but The Premiere will project a stunningly crisp 4K image. It's literally laser precise. The Premiere is the first HDR10+ projector, meaning that on top of having the standard HDR10 image quality, it can adjust its brightness and contrast dynamically. Speaking of brightness, The Premiere can project at up to 2,200 lumens, so you'll have a great image even when watching during the day or with some ambient light.

Everyone agrees, XGIMI is the top manufacturer of Android smart projectors
Family watching a movie in kids bedroom with XGIMI Halo projector.

This content was produced in partnership with XGIMI.
XGIMI, best known for its high-quality home theater and smart entertainment projectors, has integrated Android TV into all of its devices. That's not something you normally see with projectors, which often require a host of other accessories and gear to unlock their full potential. Most home theater projectors, for example, are just that and merely function as a passthrough player, so you'll still need a streaming media device or internet-enabled smartphone to watch content. That's not the case at all with XGIMI's offerings, such as the HORIZON Pro, Elfin, or Halo+, all of which are ready to go right out of the box.

But above all, XGIMI's projectors blend seamlessly into the average home space or living room, while offering convenient and easy-to-use experiences -- you don't have to be a tech whiz to get them set up. Having Android TV also means that you can sync content across all of your devices, and even use the built-in Chromecast technology to cast movies, photos, or content straight to the projector. There's no need to connect anything special to get all of this, it just works. XGIMI has "painstakingly" designed its projectors to provide the best experience possible, embedding auto keystone, autofocus, and Intelligent Screen Adaption (ISA) technology. Normally, a projector takes some time to configure correctly, depending on the room and the environment, but with those automatic solutions, it's easier than ever to get a crystal clear and vibrant picture. That's precisely why XGIMI is so highly regarded and considered one of the top manufacturers of Android-powered smart projectors, let alone standard projectors.

How to choose the right home theater projector for you
Family watching home projector.

To really put the "theater" in your home theater, there’s nothing quite like a projector capable of beaming a big, bright movie or big sporting event on your wall, effectively turning your living room or backyard into your own private AMC. A projector can offer an excellent cinematic experience … if you pick the right one. But when you consider all the tech and terms involved in modern projectors -- from short-throw projectors to lasers to DLP to LcOS -- choosing the right one can be tricky. It’s also important to choose a projector that’s going to feel at home in your theater space and not too painful to install and adjust.

Along with wrapping your head around all the techy terms, also make sure you take your viewing needs into consideration. Users who primarily depend on their projector for entertainment will require more features and have a bigger budget to spare, while occasional users might wanna stick to basic features and save some cash.
