Millions of businesses use Google Apps to simplify their IT needs. But just putting everything into the cloud, while it may make be more cost effective, doesn’t solve all your problems. With small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) comprising the majority of Google Apps adopters, users are often non-technical employees with limited IT help. Building on its ability to provide an independent archive of all Google Apps data, Backupify’s One-Click Restore feature is an effective safeguard against data loss while operating in full compliance with current regulations.

“The information in our Google Apps account is so important to our business, that if we didn’t have access to it for even a day, we’d be in trouble,” said Miriam Schwab, founder of illuminea. “In order to protect our critical data, we needed a solution for round-the-clock protection for all of our data. After evaluating other options, we found that Backupify provides all the capabilities we needed to fortify our business against data loss. We’re happy to have the peace of mind that comes with having illuminea’s Google Apps data backed up and available whenever it is needed with Backupify.”

Google Apps backups occur automatically every 24 hours and Google Apps users or their IT administrators can access their archives at any time through any web browser, download information to their local PC, to their data center or use One-Click Restore to reinsert them directly to their Google Apps accounts.

Backupify for Google Apps is available for enterprises to try for 30 days. To learn more visit, http://www.backupify.com/launch/googleapps.

This Dell UPS battery backup perfect for outages is $80 today — normally $99
Dell UPS battery backup on sale

We've all been there before. The power surges or cuts, even if for a second, and everything shuts off. The problem is you were in the middle of a big project and you have no idea when your work was last saved. Now, it's totally possible you lost time and effort. There is a way to combat this, and it's called a UPS battery backup, or uninterruptible power supply. It's not going to keep you playing or working for hours upon hours during a major outage, but it will definitely give you enough time to finish up, save, and shut everything down properly. You just need to plan ahead and have one set up before the next outage happens. While it's no Dell XPS deal, today it's offering a great price on a 600VA UPS battery backup. Normally $99, it's down to $80, saving you $19. No, it's not a huge discount, but that's a heck of a price to keep the lights on when they shouldn't be.

Why shop this Dell UPS battery backup deal?
A UPS battery backup, specifically this one, is designed to both give you more time to finish up what you're doing, working off battery power preserved inside, and offer surge protection for major power events. Like a surge protector, this one offers up to $75,000 in equipment protection policies. But honestly, I would say that's a bonus and that wouldn't be the sole reason you'd pick up one of these.

Lenovo knocks $1,080 off one of it’s best Chromebooks
ThinkPad C14 Chromebook

While Windows laptops are great, they tend to be quite pricey if you want to grab something that's more powerful and can handle more tasks. If you don't want to spend that much cash, one other great option is to grab yourself a Chromebook since it runs on ChromeOS and is a lot lighter than Windows. One great example is the ThinkPad C14 Chromebook from Lenovo, and there is even a solid deal directly from Lenovo that knocks the original $1,559 price down to just $479. That's a significant $1,080 discount on the usual price, and while Lenovo sometimes overestimates the MSRP value of its laptops, this is still an excellent deal regardless.

Why you should buy this ThinkPad C14 Chromebook
Something that's pretty unique about this configuration of the ThinkPad C14 Chromebook is that it comes with an Intel Core i7-1265U vPro processor under the hood and a mid-to-high-end CPU that's probably more powerful than ChromeOS needs. Still, that means that you can pretty much do anything with this ThinkPad C14, and it will handle the job, making it a great option for productivity or school work, while the 14-inch FHD screen means that it's easy to carry around with you. Even more impressively, it comes with a fingerprint reader, so it's great for those who need multi-factor authentication to do work or access files. You don't have to carry an external reader or key, saving you a bit of extra carrying space.
