OnePlus 10 Pro Launch Event Trailer

We more or less knew everything about the OnePlus 10 Pro following its China launch, but now we know it’ll be coming to the U.S., the U.K., parts of Europe, and India.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring the OnePlus 10 Pro to India, Europe, and North America alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro in Radiant Silver,” said Pete Lau, founder of OnePlus, in a press release. “With the second-generation Hasselblad Camera for mobile, super-fast charging, and the best performance in any OnePlus smartphone to date, we believe the OnePlus 10 Pro is a well-rounded flagship that is extremely competitive at its price point.”

Like all Android phones wearing a “Pro” suffix in 2022, there is a 6.7-inch QHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s also a massive 5,000mAh battery with fast charging, and Android 12 paired with OxygenOS 12.1 is along for the ride as well. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and it touts a triple rear camera layout that is the star of the show.

As with the OnePlus 9 Pro, this delightful camera is tuned by camera company Hasselblad, and there’s a 48-megapixel main camera, a 50 ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Around the front, the OnePlus has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling. For superfans, OnePlus is also offering a free pair of OnePlus Buds Pro to those who pre-order.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will come in two variants, with an 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of storage base model in Volcanic Black only for 800 British pounds or 900 euros, and a model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in both Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest for 900 pounds or 1,000 euros.

In the U.S., the OnePlus 10 Pro will be available in both Volcanic Blank and Emerald Green in the 8GB/128GB configuration. Colorways will vary by outlet.

If you’re interested in placing an order, OnePlus says the phone will be immediately available for order on Amazon as well as OnePlus’s site. You’ll be able to buy it from  T-Mobile in Volcanic Black from $37.50 a month or for free with eligible trade-ins on the Magenta Max plan. In the U.K., OnePlus will also be available from John Lewis, with pre-orders opening on April 5, 2022.

In the U.S., you’ll be able to pre-order the OnePlus 10 Pro for $899 starting on March 31 from Oneplus.com. Sales will begin online and in-store at T-Mobile, Best Buy, and Amazon on April 14.

OnePlus also announced a new colorway for the OnePlus Buds Pro, making it available in Radiant Silver. It will be priced at 150 pounds, 140 euros, and $150.

OnePlus has seen a transition from a niche enthusiast company to a somewhat mainstream smartphone brand over the years, but jettisoning some of the aspects that brought it cult fame has led to backlash. The company had revised its OxygenOS software to look a lot more like ColorOS, a version of Android that differs from what you’d expect from Google or Samsung and veers more toward (predictably) Oppo. OnePlus has recognized its mistake and hopes to rectify it with Android 13, but it just goes to show the company isn’t the cult darling it once was.

Massive OnePlus 13 leak just revealed everything about the phone
Official OnePlus 13 product render in three colors.

At this point, it's common news that the OnePlus 13 will launch in China tomorrow. Obviously, we would get all of the specs on the phone at launch, but the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA (similar to the Federal Communications Commission in the U.S.) recently shared an almost complete specs list. Since it's coming from an official agency, this is information that you can pretty much take at face value.

According to the certification, the OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will come with a 4.1GHz CPU, and have a 6,000mAh battery. We already knew most of these details from previous leaks, but it's good to see them confirmed.
