Everything leaving Netflix in June 2023

Everything must come to an end, and that includes some of your favorite movies and TV shows on streaming services. Netflix is not immune to losing content, even if it more than makes up for it with originals like The Night Agent or The Diplomat.

In May 2023, Netflix will be losing series like Chappelle’s Show and The Mole. In addition, horror movies like The Darkness and the Stephen King adaptation The Mist and comedies like The DUFF and Jerry Maguire will be leaving the popular streaming service. Find out if one of your favorites is leaving Netflix in June so you can watch it before it disappears.

Two men and a woman hold guns and board a ship.

One of Netflix's best genres is, without a doubt, action. Action movies are frequently found on Netflix's most popular movies list. Most of these action films are quickly paced and straight to the point. In other words, these movies perfectly provide an escape from our daily lives. Extraction, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, and The Adam Project have all been huge hits with subscribers.

More of these movies are under the "Action" section on Netflix. From there, Netflix separates action into subgenres including suspense, sci-fi, adventure, and international. If you don't feel like scrolling for hours, we did the hard work and picked out three action movies to watch this month. One of these movies features Hollywood's biggest star in his most underrated blockbuster.

The cast of A.P. Bio.

Shows from other networks and streamers have helped Netflix make it almost all of the way through 2024 without losing too much momentum after last year's Hollywood strikes. Between comedies like Reba, Martin, and My Wife and Kids, as well as dramas including Lost, Prison Break, Fire Country, and Yellowjackets, Netflix has revitalized older and more recent series while the streamer's original programing caught up after six months in limbo. A.P. Bio is one of the series from another streamer that's coming later this month, and it's our pick for the one Netflix show that you need to watch in November.

A.P. Bio originally ran for two seasons on NBC, where it didn't manage to attract a large audience. But during the peak of the streaming era, A.P. Bio got a second chance at life on Peacock for two additional seasons. It's not the first show from Comcast's streamer to migrate over to Netflix, but it might have better luck than Girls5eva, which actually got a new season to go along with its new home.
