It’s officially summertime! While most folks are getting outside and enjoying some sunshine, real gamers know that its the season of one of the best gaming sales: the Steam Summer Sale. This massive Steam sale will slash prices for all sorts of games, from blockbuster AAA hits to indie darlings you may have missed so far this year.

Now is the perfect time to scout the sale and pick up any games you’ve had on your wish list for a while or take a risk on a deeply discounted game you normally wouldn’t pick up. 2024's Steam Autumn Sale has begun. While there are plenty of fantastic deals on video games, the best deal might be that versions of the Steam Deck are available at their lowest price yet.

One of the most iconic video game boxes of all time is The Orange Box, a bundle that included Half-Life 2, both of its episodes, and two little unreleased games you might have heard of: Portal and Team Fortress 2. You’ll never have to use the 2K Launcher for Steam games again

As part of a growing trend among publishers, 2K Games has removed its launcher from "every game that used it" on Steam and Epic.

2K announced the change on a support page last month, and the launcher was removed on November 18. An update was pushed out on Monday to ensure it's gone, so if you want to hop into a 2K game on Steam or Epic, you'll no longer have to deal with the extra step of going through a launcher.
