Black Friday and Cyber Monday will start on November 29 this year, but early deals are the perfect time to pick up a new 4K monitor for yourself if you’ve been waiting a while. Luckily, while we’re still a few weeks out, there are a lot of great early Black Friday 4K monitor deals that you can pick up right now, so you don’t have to wait. We’ve collected a few of our favorite 4K monitor deals below, but be sure to check back regularly as we update these deals and add new ones as we get closer to the sales event itself.

LG 27-inch IPS LED 4K Monitor — $200 $350 43% off

Best Buy

This 27-inch LG monitor is a great option if you’re looking for a budget-oriented 4K monitor that comes with an excellent $150 discount. It can cover 95% DCI-P3 of the color gamut, so it’s great for creative design work, and it even has AMD FreeSync for those who want to game, although the refresh rate is only 60Hz.

Samsung 32-inch ViewFinity S7 LED 4k Monitor — $330 $400 18% off

Samsung

Another great option if you’re looking for a budget 4K monitor with a much larger screen is this 32-inch monitor from Samsung. While you only get a $70 discount, it does come with a lot of great features, such as 350 nits of brightness, 99% coverage of sRGB, and an eye-saver mode to protect your eyes.

Samsung 32-inch M80D Smart 4K TV — $400 $700 43% off

The Samsung M80C 32-inch Smart Tizen 4K Monitor on a white background.
Samsung

In the past few years, Samsung has made the concept of a smart monitor more popular, with the M80D being one of the latest versions. This 32-inch monitor can function both as a monitor and as a TV, and you can even get some basic work done without switching a computer on. And with the $300 discount, it’s a steal.

LG UltraGear 32-inch 4K monitor — $530 $600 12% off

LG

This 32-inch LG UltraGear is targeted towards gaming, with the inclusion of the more advanced G-SYNC tech. It can also manage a 144Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of peak brightness, as well as VESA HDR 400, although it’s worth noting that HDR on monitors isn’t the same as on TV. Even so, the $70 discount is well worth it if you want a solid gaming monitor.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 32-inch Curved 4K Monitor — $800 $1,300 38% off

Samsung Odyssey Neo G8
Samsung

One of the higher-end gaming monitors you’re going to find out there, not only is this 32-inch Samsung Neo G8 curved, but it can also hit a whopping 240Hz refresh rate. While there isn’t a GPU out there that can manage 240Hz at 4K, you can prioritize refresh rate over resolution for competitive games, and with a whopping $500 discount, it’s well worth grabbing.

How to Choose a 4K Monitor on Black Friday

While 4K monitors have generally become much more common, it’s still worth considering whether you want one in the first place. For starters, if you’re doing any sort of gaming, most modern GPUs aren’t going to be able to handle 4K resolutions at more than 100Hz, and even that will likely require either an RTX 4080 Super or an RTX 4090. And for those who don’t mind running at a lower resolution or are wanting something for graphic design, you’ll still have to aim for a mid-to-high-end GPU, which can certainly add to the cost. Of course, you don’t need the best GPUs, even for a good 4K monitor, as long as you’re willing to compromise, but it’s worth considering.

If you’re more interested in having a 4K monitor for watching movies, then you don’t really need a high-end GPU, and at that point, what you mostly want to consider is things like the viewing angle and how bright the monitor can get. 350 nits of peak brightness is pretty good, but that means you won’t be able to put it anywhere that has direct sunlight. Also, even though there is a form of HDR for monitors, it’s not the same as HDR for TVs, and tends not to be as good on monitors, mostly because they can’t hit the brightness needed to run HDR properly. Again, some outliers can manage it, but they are rare and cost thousands of dollars.

How We Chose These 4K Monitor Black Friday Deals

Luckily, there are enough options for 4K monitors out there that we can be discerning about what deals we choose to put on this list. Generally speaking, our focus tends to be split into two things, both of which are on a relatively equal footing. The first is making sure to make suggestions for monitors we actually think are good, which we know from our experience as reviewers and folks working in the tech industry, so we can tell pretty easily whether a monitor is worth grabbing or not.

The second aspect is to find the best deals possible so that anything you grab is at its lowest price. The goal is to get you the best bang for your buck so that you’re buying with confidence and know that you’re investment will be worth it.
