As any iOS devotee will tell you, there’s no better accessory for your iPhone or iPad than an Apple wearable (and perhaps a pair of Apple earbuds or headphones). With multiple models available and plenty of band sizes and colors to choose from, it can be difficult to ascertain what Apple Watch is best for your needs. But a good ole’ fashioned sale may be enough to push you over the edge.

Scanning through all the Walmart deals for this week, we were able to dig up this awesome promo on the Apple Watch SE 2: Right now, you can buy the 40mm SE 2 at Walmart for only $190. That’s a $60 markdown from its original $250 price.

Why you should buy the Apple Watch SE 2

The SE 2 is the natural next step in Apple’s Watch SE lineage. While it doesn’t bring a ton of huge changes to the table compared to the original SE, Version II includes a newer, stronger Apple processor, a more comfortable fit, and a suite of fitness-tracking features that help you stay in tune with your health and wellness.

Powered by watchOS 10 and Apple’s S8 chipset (the same CPU used for the Apple Watch Series 8), the SE 2 delivers zippy and reliable performance. From UI animations to app load times and fitness tracking, you’ll experience little in the way of lag time from one activity to the next. The 40mm display does a terrific job at rendering detail-rich colors and solid brightness levels. Even if you’re using the SE 2 outside on a bright, sunny day, you should have no issues seeing the screen.

Additional features include Apple’s Crash Detection 2, Fall Detection, a number of excellent fitness-monitoring tools, and up to 18 hours of battery life. It’s hard to say just how long this sale is going to last, so we advise taking advantage of this great Apple offer while the savings are still yours to have. Take $60 off the Apple Watch SE 2 when you buy through Walmart today!

The Garmin Fenix 8 is almost out, so the 7X has a huge price cut
The Garmin Fenix 7X smartwatch with stats on the screen.

If you want to track your runs and workouts more effectively, and you don’t mind going for potentially older tech, Best Buy has the offer for you. Right now you can buy the Garmin Fenix 7X smartwatch with a $250 discount, so it’s down to $650 from $900. This is likely happening because the Garmin Fenix 8 is rumored to launch later this month, but if you don’t mind being a step behind, you’ll still be delighted with this one. You’ll need to be quick to grab one of the best smartwatch deals as it’s only available for today and tomorrow, ending September 7. Here’s what it has to offer.

Why you should buy the Garmin Fenix 7X
If you’re serious about achieving your running, hiking, or even swimming goals, you need one of the best Garmin watches. While the Garmin Fenix 7X isn’t on that list, it’s still highly respected. In the past, we’ve reviewed the Garmin Fenix 6S Pro and the Garmin Fenix 5X Plus and the response is the same every time -- Garmin Fenix watches are great.

Garmin’s Apple Watch Ultra alternative gets a $100 discount
The Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2).

You've got several options if you're looking for an Apple Watch alternative, but there are only a few smartwatches out there that can match up to the Apple Watch Ultra 2. The Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 is one of them, and if you're interested, you can get it for $100 off from Best Buy. From its original price of $1,100, it's down to $1,000 -- the wearable device is still not cheap, but it's going to be worth every single penny with all of the features that it packs. You're going to have to be quick with your purchase though, as you may lose your chance at the savings if you keep delaying.

Why you should buy the Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 smartwatch
If you want a rugged smartwatch with comprehensive fitness features, and you're not heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem, the Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 is an excellent choice over the Apple Watch Ultra 2. The wearable device is currently featured in our list of the best smartwatches as our top recommendation for outdoor sports, partly because of its durability. The Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2 comes with a 1.4-inch scratch-resistant sapphire AMOLED display, a 51mm fiber-reinforced polymer case with a titanium bezel and rear cover, and it's been tested against U.S. military standards for thermal, water, and shock resistance.

Apple smartwatches as low as $200 for Target Labor Day sale
An Apple Watch SE 2 next to an Apple Watch Series 9.

If you've been searching for Labor Day smartwatch deals, you may be surprised to find that some of the best deals on an Apple Watch are coming from Target. Right now, you can save $50 on an Apple Watch SE 2 or $130 on an Apple Watch Series 9. That puts them as low as $200 and $270, respectively, depending on configurations. Tap the button below to go check out the watches yourself or keep on reading to see which watch is right for you and how to shop the sale effectively.

How to choose the right Apple Watch deal at Target
The first thing you need to do is pick your watch. Luckily, we have an extensive guide comparing the Apple Watch SE 2 and Apple Watch 9. To boil down something complex, the Apple Watch 9 is the technically better watch but if you aren't a power user, you might prefer the SE 2, which is cheaper. The Apple Watch 9 has 2,000 nits of brightness to the SE 2's 1,000, for example, making it easier to see in sunlight. It also has a low power mode that can essentially double its battery life. You'll also get a whole host of extra sensors on the Apple Watch 9 for more robust health monitoring, though nothing essential is "missing" from the SE 2. Be sure to check out our Apple Watch 9 and Apple Watch SE 2 reviews for a view of our lived experiences with the devices.
