The masks are back on, and the madness has only just begun. Lionsgate revealed the first teaser for The Strangers: Chapter 2, the middle entry in Renny Harlin’s horror trilogy.

On Friday, Lionsgate unveiled the first footage from The Strangers: Chapter 2, which picks up in the aftermath of the unsettling events from the first film. Madelaine Petsch returns as Maya, who survived the attacks by the sadistic masked intruders. In Chapter 1, Maya and her boyfriend Ryan (Froy Gutierrez) made a pit stop in Venus, Oregon, after having car problems. While staying at an isolated cabin, three masked strangers invade the property and torment the couple. Ryan’s fate is unknown after being stabbed in the stomach and left to bleed out. Maya was also stabbed but made it to the hospital.

In the teaser, Maya wakes up in the hospital in a panic and runs out of the building. Three people in a van pick up Maya. These strangers might be connected to the intruders since Maya envisions them wearing terrifying masks. The teaser ends with a little girl saying, “Is Tamara here?” One of the female intruders posed the same question to Maya and Ryan in Chapter 1.

Besides Petsch, The Strangers stars Rachel Shenton, Ema Horvath, and The Night Agent‘s Gabe Basso.

Harlin directs The Strangers: Chapter 2 on a script by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland. The same director and screenwriting duo worked on all three entries.

The Strangers: Chapter 1 opened in May to poor reviews. However, the film became a solid hit at the box office, grossing over $47 million against an $8 million budget.

The Strangers: Chapter 2 is now arriving sometime in 2025. Chapter 3‘s release date is unknown.

January 1, 2023. That is when the final episode of Yellowstone season 5, part 1 aired. It's been a long time since the Dutton Family has been on Paramount Network, but their hiatus will end in November with the premiere of Yellowstone season 5, part 2.

With filming underway, the Yellowstone cast and crew released a special featurette, taking fans behind the scenes of the upcoming episodes. Everyone involved in the sneak peek reiterated the same two points: the break between parts 1 and 2 has been too long, and the cast is ready to release new episodes.

The Last of Us season 2 teaser trailer: Joel, Ellie, and a whole lot of clickers
A conflicted Pedro Pascal looks sad in The Last of Us.

Danger is on the horizon for Joel and Ellie in HBO’s official teaser for The Last of Us season 2.
Set to an eerie version of Pearl Jam’s Future Days, the season 2 teaser begins with a conflicted Joel (Pedro Pascal) trying to confess a secret to Catherine O’Hara’s character. This is likely a reference to how Joel killed a surgeon and several Fireflies who attempted to operate on Ellie to develop a cure for the virus. The surgery would have likely killed Ellie, so Joel’s actions saved her life, but delayed a chance at a cure.
Elsewhere, Ellie (Bella Ramsey) is adjusting to life in the Jackson community five years after the events of season 1. However, the clickers remain a threat as they mobilize and gain strength in numbers.

New additions to the ensemble include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac. O’Hara, who is speaking with Pascal’s Joel in the teaser, will guest star.
