Innovative features of the Freo Z Ultra

The Freo Z Ultra includes advanced obstacle avoidance, ultra-close clean, hands-free maintenance, and user- and pet-friendly features. The system’s Dual RGB Cameras and Dual AI Chips enable intelligent detection of over 100 household obstacles and messes in real-time, intelligently reacting to its surroundings while executing quiet and non-disruptive cleaning strategies. Through this innovative design, Narwal aims to give homeowners peace of mind through unnoticeable cleaning operations.

“Narwal is excited to offer consumers highly intuitive smart home products, with cutting-edge technology to take the hassle out of home cleaning,” says Junbin Zhang, CEO of Narwal. “The Freo Z Ultra leverages AI-powered precision and adaptability to provide a solution that sets a new benchmark for smart cleaning solutions. The design is to take stress out of cleaning, leaving more time for things that matter.”

Minimizing cleaning time

Cleaning can significantly interfere with a homeowner’s life. Narwal aims to be the solution, with its AI-powered sweeping and mopping robot acting as the next advancement in home cleaning. The Freo Z Ultra minimizes time spent on cleaning at a reduced volume to efficiently tackle the most challenging household messes.

Freo Z Ultra’s capabilities

The Freo Z Ultra’s Dual AI chips serve as the robot’s brain, capable of performing 4 trillion computations per second to identify over 120 household items in real time. Combined with its eyes — dual 1600*1200 RGB cameras that provide a 136-degree view and deliver true 3D vision with a point cloud density of 1,474,560 points per second — it can react and make decisions in an instant.

Due to the heightened response time and clear 3D vision, the Freo Z Ultra can avoid erroneous collisions or stuttering incidents, avoiding objects as small as 5 mm and cleaning around things like table lets and cables. It can even react to dynamic obstacles, such as children or walking pets.

Rather than cleaning and mopping indiscriminately, Narwal’s Freo Z Ultra uses artificial intelligence to detect and identify messes, automatically adjusting its approach for better cleaning. For dry messes, it switches to vacuum-only, and for wet messes, it uses mop-only mode. It even uses AI to assess a mess, adjusting water temperature and angle to achieve a better clean.

The Freo Z Ultra boasts 12,000 Pa of suction power and 1.2KG of scrubbing pressure, and if one go is not enough, it will re-mop or re-wash a section until the floor or carpet is spotless. The base station is equally equipped, capable of automatic cleaning to combat bacteria and odors for a more hygienic result. And it does all this at 53 dB, half the industry average noise level.
