How to play split screen in Black Ops 6

Before getting into how to play split screen, you need to know if you can even take advantage of it. First, split screen is only available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. If you have a PC, PS4, or Xbox One copy of Black Ops 6, this feature will not work.

Second is that split screen only works in multiplayer and Zombies, not campaign. On top of that, multiplayer is limited to bot matches and not online games.

Finally, besides obviously needing two controllers, you will need two accounts that are tied to Activision accounts to play.

If you meet all these requirements, here's how to play split screen in Black Ops 6:

Step 1: Boot up Black Ops 6 and enter either a multiplayer or Zombies lobby.

Step 2: Turn on your second controller and hit X or A depending on if you are on PS5 or Xbox.

Step 3: Sign into a second account.

Step 4: Begin your game.

It is also important to note that, despite only being available for bot matches and Zombies, you are still required to be online while playing split screen.
