Velotric: One of our favorite e-bike brands is having a huge sale right now

Take a minute to browse through the e-bike category, and you’ll see lots of options but not many that I would classify as accessible. As far as technology goes, they can be pretty expensive, especially compared to your everyday traditional pedal bike. So, it makes sense that most people would wait until the holiday season, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to get a great deal on a new bike. Prices are at their lowest ever, and it’s a great time to save some money. But guess what? You don’t have to wait until later in November to save big because Velotric, a premium-quality e-bike maker, is hosting a huge sale right now. You can head over now to take a look, otherwise, we’re going to explore some of those Velotric e-bike deals that are available.

What are these “Lower-Than-Black-Friday” Velotric e-bike deals?

Velotric is claiming these deals are “better” than Black Friday, so they better be good, right? Don’t worry, they are. For example, you can grab the Velotric Go 1 Ebike for $400 off, while still getting it in a bundle that includes two free gears. That price is currently $1,299, normally $1,700. The Go 1 features a 500-watt motor, supports a maximum load of 440 pounds, and can travel up to 55 miles on a single charge. Pretty impressive. It’s also designed to lug cargo, like a picnic basket, day bag, or even camping gear. That’s mostly thanks to a lower center of gravity for the frame and hydraulic suspension system.

What if you want something for cruising, though? The Velotric Fold 1 Ebike is only $1,099 with the Early Bird sales price, normally $1,400, saving you $300. Or, how about the Velotric Nomad 1 Plus Ebike for $1,299, normally $1,800 — that saves you $501.

Velotric Black Friday deals summary:

  • Discover 2 and Summit 1 e-bikes: $150 off
  • Discover 1, Nomad 1+, T1 ST+, and Fold 1: Up to $500 off
  • Buy three accessories, get 30% off

The Velotric T1 made it onto our list of the best electric bikes for 2023. Moreover, Digital Trends’ reviewer gave the Velotric T1 4.5 stars back in 2023 when we first reviewed it. We also reviewed the Velotric Discover 2 back in June 2024 — which earned 4.5 stars, as well. This info highlights that we’re pretty fond of Velotric e-bikes. They’re premium, highly functional bikes at an accessible price point, even more so thanks to this incredible sale.

By the way, the Velotric Discover 2 is only $1,749, normally $1,899, which saves you $150. The Velotric T1 ST Plus, on the other hand, is only $1,199, normally $1,549 which is $350 off. Regardless of what model you’re looking at, these are some truly remarkable prices. I don’t know for sure if they’ll be better than Black Friday discounts, but Velotric is saying they are, and I don’t think we’ll see comparable sales elsewhere. Either way, these Black Friday deals will only be available until November 28, so don’t waste time if you’re interested.

Best pressure washer deals: Up to $110 off Greenworks and Kärcher
The Greenworks GPW3001 Pro electric pressure washer, placed outside.

There's something very therapeutic about pressure washing things, and if you've spent any time on the internet, you've probably seen a few videos here and there. Of course, it's also great for cleaning things, and there are luckily quite a lot of options out there, including some great budget options if you just want to dip your toe in. That's why we've gone out and collected some of our favorite washer deals for you below, including some of the best pressure washers for cars, which you do have to be a bit careful with not to strip the paint or clear coat.
Greenworks Pressure Washer Combo Kit -- $100 $220 55% off

While this Greenworks power washer doesn't have as high a PSI, around 1,900 PSI, it is a lot more portable and a great option if you want something that's smaller and easier to take around with you. It comes with a 35-foot power chord and a 20-foot hose, so you get quite a bit of distance. If you are somewhere rural and need to clean stuff that doesn't have a power cable nearby, this is perfect. Besides that, we also appreciate that this comes with an 11-inch surface cleaner, which isn't something common with a lot of other power washers, even more expensive ones. Just be aware that you do need a My Best Buy subscription to be able to get the discount.

Juiced Bikes sold at auction for $1.2 million, report says
The Juiced Bikes Scorpion X2 adds more power, upgraded tires, and an improved battery to the popular moped style e-bike.

Juiced Bikes, the San Diego-based maker of e-bikes, has been sold on an auction website for $1,225,000, according to a report from Electrek.Digital Trends recently reported how the company was showing signs of being on the brink of bankruptcy. The company and its executives had remained silent, while customer inquiries went unanswered and its website showed all products were out of stock. In addition, there were numerous reports of layoffs at the company.Yet, the most convincing sign was that the company’s assets appeared as listed for sale on an auction website used by companies that go out of business. Now, it appears that Juiced Bikes’ assets, including a dozen patents, multiple URLs, and the company’s inventory in both the U.S. and China, have been sold at auction, according to the report. It is likely that the buyer, who remains unknown, can capitalize on the brand and the overall value of the 15-year old company. Founded in 2009 by Tora Harris, a U.S. high-jump Olympian, Juiced Bikes was one of the early pioneers of the direct-to-consumer e-bike brands in the U.S. market.
The company had quickly built a reputation for the versatility of its e-bikes and the durability of their batteries. Over the years, the popularity of models such as the CrossCurrent, HyperScrambler, and RipCurrent only bolstered the brand’s status.Last year, Digital Trends named the Juiced Bikes Scorpion X2 as the best moped-style e-bike for 2023, citing its versatility, rich feature set, and performance.Juiced Bikes’ getting sold quickly might be a sign of what consulting firm Houlihan Lokey says is a recovery in the North American e-bike market.
The industry has had a roller-coaster ride during and after the COVID-19 pandemic: A huge spike in demand for e-bikes had combined with disrupted supply chains to create a supply/demand mismatch of “historic proportions," Houlihan Lokey said.
