Accidental Nexus 10 leak shows Snapdragon 800 chip and slimmer design

The Nexus 5 has done its best to hog the Google product limelight ever since the Nexus 7’s announcement earlier this year, while the inevitable Nexus 10 tablet has managed to stay relatively secret. That could have all changed today, as according to PhoneArena.com, it has been supplied with a screenshot showing the Nexus 10 listed on the Google Play store.

This has given us a look at the tablet itself, although there’s not much to see in the face-on image, plus more interestingly, a list of potential specifications. The screen will apparently measure just under 10.1-inches, matching the first Nexus 10, and the resolution is identical at 2560 x 1600 pixels, giving a 300ppi density. A Gorilla Glass 3 covering should protect it from accidental damage.

The Samsung-built 2012 Nexus 10 was powered by an Exynos chip, but for the 2013 model, Google may have insisted on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, bringing it into line with the second generation Nexus 7 tablet. However, the amount of RAM could see a boost to 3GB, a figure also seen in the Galaxy Note 3. Flip the tablet over, and the leak says an 8-megapixel camera lens will be fitted to the rear, and inside a massive 9500mAh battery could be found.

If the picture proves to be accurate, the screen bezel won’t be quite as huge this time around, and the specifications suggest the overall size will be smaller too, with the tablet shrinking to 7.9mm thick and 584 grams in weight. Android 4.4 should be the operating system installed, just like the Nexus 5 smartphone.

It’s difficult to say whether all this is accurate. While the suggested spec isn’t outlandish, it’s impossible to check to see if the Google Play listing is still in place. Why? At the time of writing the devices store itself isn’t accessible, which could indicate Google is rectifying its “Error.” Remember, Google “accidentally” leaked the Nexus 5 in exactly the same way. There may not be long to wait for its official unveiling, as all could be revealed on November 1.

Google Pixel 6 leak shows a radically different design and a third camera
Google Pixel 6 leaked image of the phone's back.

The Google Pixel 6 is on the way, and if leaks are to be believed, the phone may mark the return of a true flagship in the Pixel series. Respected leaker Jon Prosser has published a video showing off what he claims is the upcoming Google Pixel 6 series, which will reportedly include a Google Pixel 6 and a Google Pixel 6 Pro.

Perhaps the most notable change to the Pixel series comes in the form of the Pixel 6's design. If these leaks are accurate, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will look unlike any phone we've ever seen before, thanks largely to the large camera module that extends from left to right across the back of the phone. Prosser's images aren't official renders, but rather renders made based on what Prosser claims is the real Pixel 6.

The 6 best LG smartphones of all time, ranked
FM Radio

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you somehow aren’t already aware, LG is officially exiting the mobile world. In our business, news like this is never worth celebrating. Competition breeds innovation, and LG’s mobile forays were nothing if not innovative. And so, what better way to honor its decadeslong contributions than by waxing nostalgia over its best devices of all time? Or perhaps you grieve differently, preferring instead to examine the uglier side of the LG’s legacy? I’ve got that covered, too.
No. 6: LG V20

While its older sibling, the V10, had a lot of bark and little bite, the V20 offered some truly unrivaled features. Though not the first phone with a focus on audio quality, it brought to the table LG’s very first Quad DAC as well as three microphones that together enabled high-fidelity audio recording and playback as well as support for FLAC files. All of that might sound buzzy and confusing for the uninitiated, but for audiophiles, this is what has made LG the only manufacturer worth supporting for much of its later years.

At first glance, the Note 10 Plus 5G and the S10 5G have a lot in common, so choosing between these two smartphones is going to be tough, but this comparison will help, as we're about to explain precisely how they differ.
