Windows Home Server to be Fixed in June

Windows Home Server to be Fixed in JuneMicrosoft technicians have been able to reproduce the bug some customers found in Windows Home Server. As to fixing it…well, that looks as if it mighttake a bit longer than expected. The current project is that there will be a solution by June, but that’s not guaranteed.   The problem with the bug is quite complex. It can corrupt filestransferred to a Home Server unit that has two or more hard drives, according to Information Week. Even then, it will only kick in if the file transferis executed with specific Microsoft problems. Needless to say, it hasn’t affected that many people.   The Windows Home Server team noted in a blog that they’re not sanguine about aneasy solution.   "It is at an extremely low level of the operating system and it requires thorough testing to ensure that the fix addresses the issue."
