You can go ahead and call Blizzard’s first expansion for Diablo III a bona fide success, at least according to the sales results. The Reaper of Souls DLC sold an impressive 2.7 million copies since its release on March 25, Blizzard announced.

Reaper of Souls adds a new act to the story, as well as the new Adventure Mode, which adds a fresh layer to the game. It also increases the level cap to 70, adds new Bounty missions and randomized dungeons known as Nephalem Rifts, and introduces the new Crusader class as well as the Mystic Artisan. The 2.7 million includes both retail and digital sales. The numbers are strong, but not all that surprising. Following its release on May 15, 2012, the game went on to sell 12 million copies between its release and the end of 2012.

“With Reaper of Souls, we wanted to emphasize all the things that Diablo gamers have always loved about the series, from the dark gothic setting to the piles and piles of epic loot,” Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime said. “We’re excited to see that players are enjoying the changes we’ve made to the game, and we look forward to achieving our Paragon levels alongside everyone else in the weeks and months ahead.”

The DLC is currently only available for the PC, but a PlayStation 4 version of the vanilla game with the DLC, titled Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, is set for 2014. An Xbox One version is planned as well, but no release date has been given yet.

It won't take long before The Zone teaches you one very important tip for surviving in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which is to avoid fighting whenever possible. You can only carry so many resources, and prolonged fights can leave you with almost nothing left. And that's if you even manage to survive. There are some fights you just can't get around, though, but going in guns blazing isn't the best strategy. There's a handy stealth kill mechanic in Stalker 2, but you won't find it in any of the tutorials.
