Tricked out and eye-popping PC case designs are nothing new, especially when you’re talking about a gaming PC. However, Cyberpower takes that to a whole other level with the Fang Battlebox, which lets you fold it up and carry it around like a briefcase.

Decked out in a shell that’s dominated by black and supplemented by red trim, the Fang Battlebox, which was first shown off at CES 2014, doesn’t compromise when it comes to what components you can stuff in it. Sure, you can opt for a sub-$1,000 configuration, but if you have the cash, you can outfit it with all sorts of high-end gear.

That includes super-powerful graphics cards like the AMD Radeon R9 290X, and the Nvidia GeForce GTX 780Ti. Want a Core i7 CPU? Check. Liquid cooling? No problem. Dual hard drives? As long as you have the dough, you can absolutely turn the Fang Battlebox into a PC that chews up and spits out demanding games like a logger tearing through a stack of pancakes.

The one drawback to the Fang Battlebox, as you might imagine, is the bulk associated with carrying around such a beastly system. However, the strain that you experience by schlepping from one LAN party to another with a Battlebox in tow may be mitigated by the fact that, instead of taking the form of a traditional tower, the Battlebox compacts your PC into a smaller-than-usual space. On the other hand, the layout of the components may also play a big factor that determines how comfortable it is to carry one around. Another concern of ours is this: how easy it will be to upgrade a Fang Battlebox yourself?

Anyway, an entry-level Fang Battlebox will run you $619. That includes an Intel Core i3-4310 CPU, a 1TB hard drive, 8GB of RAM, and Intel integrated graphics. Bumping that config up to one that sports an Intel Core i7-4770K CPU running at 3.5 GHz, and an Nvidia 780Ti graphics card, nearly triples the price ($1,710).

The next Snapdragon X chip will be even more powerful than we thought
The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus

As part of Qualcomm's latest Investor Day, the company confirmed that its next PC chip, the Snapdragon X Elite Gen 2, will use the Oryon v3 CPU. This comes as a surprise to many, as the Oryon v2 was just announced last month alongside plans to use it with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for smartphones.

Since the current Snapdragon X Elite chip uses an Oryon v1 CPU, many assumed that the 2nd-gen chip would use the 2nd-gen CPU -- but it seems the PC chips will be skipping over this generation entirely.

The Windows 11 24H2 update is causing even more problems
Windows 11 logo on a laptop.

The Windows 11 24H2 update had already been giving users a real headache with problems such as bugs for visual layouts and flaws for certain wallpaper apps. And now, as Microsoft confirms in a support document, some people without administrative privileges can't change the time zone in the Date & Time view, among myriad other issues related to the important Windows 11 update.

A Feedback Hub post also reports a time issue after exiting Sleep Mode, specifically after about one out of every five overnight sleep cycles. There is also a report that the time is not syncing correctly following daylight saving time. Put differently, the update doesn't break the time zone, but only affects the toggle or makes it very difficult to modify it.
