Apple has sent out a press release detailing where the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will launch next. There are 36 additional countries in total, all of which will get the chance to by a new iPhone before the end of October. According to Apple, they contribute to making this the “fastest iPhone rollout ever.”
If you’re eager to find out if your home is one of the lucky ones, here’s a rundown of Apple’s next targets. It was already known China would receive the iPhone on October 17, and that it would also be joined by India, but now Monaco has been added to this Friday’s plan. On October 23, Israel will get the chance to buy the phones, too.
Apple will add seven more countries on October 24, which are the Czech Republic, French West Indies, Greenland, Malta, Poland, Reunion Island, and South Africa. Kuwait and Bahrain must wait until October 30. The list for October 31 is a long one. Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iceland, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, South Korea, Romania, Solvakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Thailand all round out Apple’s October launch plan.
These 36 new locations are added to the existing countries where the iPhone 6 family is already on sale, giving Apple a grand total of 69 leading into November. It plans to bring that figure up to 115 before the end of 2014.
However, Apple fans ready to splash out on a new iPhone may want to keep some money back. On October 16, the company will be holding another special event. Although what it will announce is still a secret, we’re expecting new iPad tablets, Mac computers, and news on the OS X Yosemite operating system.
