For a franchise as popular (and massive) as Warcraft, details regarding the upcoming, big-budget movie based on the World of Warcraft game have been surprisingly scarce… until now, that is.

Blizzard Entertainment used its recent BlizzCon event to reveal the full cast of the upcoming film, as well as the characters that will appear in it and some promotional art teasing the upcoming, big-screen clash between the Alliance and the Horde.

Set to be directed by Duncan Jones (Moon), Warcraft features two groups of cast members from the rival armies. On the Alliance side, Travis Fimmel plays Anduin Lothar, Dominic Cooper plays King Llane Wrynn, Ben Foster plays Medivh (one of the few casting choices revealed thus far), Ben Schnetzer plays Khadgar, Ruth Negga plays Lady Taria, and Paula Patton plays Garona.

For the Horde, Toby Kebbel plays Durotan, Rob Kazinsky plays Orgrim, Clancy Brown plays Blackhand, and Daniel Wu plays Gul’Dan.

Blizzard also released a pair of promotional images (posted below) for the film focusing on each of the factions. They invite fans to visit a pair of websites where they’re able to pledge allegiance to either the Alliance or the Horde. The sites feature some additional promotional imagery for the film, with the promise of more updates as the film’s March 2016 release date approaches.

Two men sit and talk in Body of Lies.

Welcome to the week of Ridley Scott. The 86-year-old filmmaker's next movie is Gladiator II, the 29th feature film in his illustrious five-decade career. The sequel to the Oscar-winning Gladiator, Gladiator II stars Paul Mescal as Lucius, the former heir to the throne and son of Maximus (Russell Crowe) and Lucilla (Connie Nielsen). After Roman forces kill his wife and force him into slavery, Lucius trains to be a gladiator and sets his sights on exacting his vengeance against the Empire.

Gladiator II will definitely be an awesome theatrical experience. After seeing Gladiator II, why not revisit more projects in Scott's filmography? Are you ready to get Glicked this weekend? No, I didn't call you a dirty name, that's the actual moniker being used for the simultaneous release of Wicked and Gladiator II.
