We already know that Marvel Studios’ upcoming Captain America: Civil War features the debut of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, but the 2016 film also serves as acclaimed actor Daniel Bruhl’s grand entrance into Marvel’s cinematic universe, too.

Marvel made the casting official with an announcement that the Rush actor — who earned a long list of award nominations for his portrayal of Formula One racer Niki Lauda in the 2013 film — has joined the cast of Captain America: Civil War in an unspecified role. He joins Boseman and returning Marvel franchise stars Chris Evans (as Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr. (as Tony Stark).

“With Daniel’s ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes,” said Marvel president and Civil War producer Kevin Feige in a statement accompanying the casting announcement.

While Marvel declined to name the role Bruhl will be playing in the film, many outlets are speculating that he’ll take on one of the film’s villain characters. Given his history of playing German characters in films like Inglourious Basterds and Good Bye Lenin!, many have suggested that he’ll play high-born Nazi scientist and supervillain Baron Zemo, a frequent collaborator with previously introduced villains Arnim Zola (as played by Toby Jones) and Baron Wolfgang Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann).

It’s worth noting that this won’t be Bruhl’s first time appearing in a film with an Avenger, as he starred opposite Thor actor Chris Hemsworth in Rush.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016.

The sequel to the Oscar-winning Gladiator, Gladiator II stars Paul Mescal as Lucius, the former heir to the throne and son of Maximus (Russell Crowe) and Lucilla (Connie Nielsen). After Roman forces kill his wife and force him into slavery, Lucius trains to be a gladiator and sets his sights on exacting his vengeance against the Empire.

Gladiator II will definitely be an awesome theatrical experience. After seeing Gladiator II, why not revisit more projects in Scott's filmography? Are you ready to get Glicked this weekend? No, I didn't call you a dirty name, that's the actual moniker being used for the simultaneous release of Wicked and Gladiator II. I'm not going to see either this weekend as both are expected to make tons of cash and draw in a lot of crowds in theaters over the next few days.
