Onda takes some cues from Asus by allowing the V919 to dual-boot Android 4.4 KitKat and Windows 8.1. Users can switch between the two operating systems with the press of a button. Of course, since the tablet has two different operating systems onboard, its 64GB of internal storage might sound rather meager. However, the Onda tablet has a MicroSD card slot that accepts cards up to 128GB in size, so you shouldn’t run out of storage too quickly.
A 2.16GHz, 64-bit Intel Bay Trail Z3736F quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM, powers the tablet. In addition, 3G connectivity is available and you can even make calls from the V919 while browsing the Web. In case you want to take a few pictures, Onda slapped on a 5-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Onda rounded out the package with an aluminum unibody design and a 9.7-inch screen with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. The end result is a tablet that looks very similar to the iPad Air 2, but has a few surprises hidden inside. Regardless, for less than $200, you seem to get quite a bit out of the V919.
