Set to air at 9 p.m. (8 p.m. Central) on Sunday, March 29, the finale of the popular AMC show’s 5th season is sure to be an eventful cap to another scintillating batch of barbary, survival, and undead drama.
Who will have survived up to that point? Who will be taken out in the episode? (Let’s face it – there’s no way the show will run for a full 90 minutes without at least one major character meeting his or her maker.) Will the crew ever actually meet up with Morgan? And seriously, what’s up with Aaron?
There are so many questions still unanswered, but rest assured, one month from now, we’ll get all those answers — at least enough to satiate until season 6. And chances are we’ll be left with just as many questions left in the air as usual by the end. If the show’s history is any indication, that’ll come accompanied by a wide-eyed, WTF look in our eyes.
If the comics are any indication (spoiler alert), Glenn may be next to get taken out at the hands of a tool integral to the sport of baseball, not a walker/roamer/biter. If that does happen, it could take place long before the finale – there are still 4 more episodes to go until then. But, as avid fans know, sometimes the showrunners follow the comic book series very closely, and sometimes they deviate greatly from what you might expect. (After all, Daryl doesn’t even exist in the comics.)
As per usual, follow-up talk show Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick, will follow the finale’s broadcast, starting at 10:30 p.m. (9:30 p.m. Central time.)
