He’s mean, he’s got serious dental problems, and he’s coming next year to a theater near you. Orgrim is one of the main orcs in Duncan Jones’ upcoming film based around the World of Warcraft franchise, Warcraft, and Legendary Pictures has shared a first look at the character (via Wired).

Though the character will be computer generated, Orgrim is played by Robert Kazinsky and is based partially around his facial structure. Brits may recognize Kazinsky from various TV appearances on Sky One and the BBC, such as EastEnders, but American geeks are most likely to know him as Chuck Hansen, the rival Jaeger pilot in the father/son team from Guillermo Del Toro’s fantastic Pacific Rim. “We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor, and the toughness of this character,” explained director Jones.

Orgrim’s visual design comes courtesy of Industrial Light and Magic, who combined pictures of Kazinsky with concept art from Blizzard’s long-running Warcraft franchise to create the character with exquisite realism, just like the team did recently for the Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The real test of a CGI character’s efficacy is, of course, when they start moving, but these stills are a promising start.

In Warcraft lore, Orgrim is a foundational leader of the orcs, serving as warchief of the mighty Blackrock clan during the First and Second Wars. He is childhood friends with Durotan, the film’s supposed Orc protagonist, and father of Thrall, who was one of the main characters in Warcraft III credited with uniting the orc clans into the mighty Horde by the time of World of Warcraft.

The film will supposedly be set sometime during the events of the First War between Orcs and Humans, which coincides with Blizzard’s breakout strategy game, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. The Horde’s capital city of Orgrimmar is named after Orgrim.

Warcraft will arrive in theaters on June 10, 2016.

Captain America 4 director says it’s great to return to a ‘rage monster’ Hulk
Red Hulk roars in Captain America: Brave New World.

In Captain America: Brave New World, Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) isn't just going to be electepresident of the United States -- he's also going to transform at one point in the film into a red-skinned Hulk. The character's angry transformation has been teased heavily in the early Captain America: Brave New World trailers, and for good reason. Not only have comic book fans been waiting years to see a version of the Red Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the character's climactic showdown with Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) also looks like it is going to be Brave New World's biggest set piece.

In a recent interview with Empire, Brave New World director Julius Onah called Ford's performance in the film "mind-blowing." He added "All of us on set were like, ‘Holy f**king s**t, he nailed it.'" While Marvel has mined plenty of humor and drama out of Bruce Banner's (Mark Ruffalo) transformation into a smarter Hulk in Avengers: Endgame, Onah says it was fun for him to bring an angry, uncontrollable Hulk back to the MCU. "It’s really great to get back to a Hulk that is just f**king breaking s**t," the director confessed, calling Ford's Red Hulk "a rage monster.”
