Orange is the New Black Season 3 is now “out on early release”

Launched several hours ahead of schedule in the United States, the entire third season of Orange is the New Black is now available to watch on Netflix’s streaming service. Originally scheduled to launch on Friday at midnight, Netflix announced the launch of the popular drama on Twitter. The tweet reads “Attention inmates! Orange Is the New Black season 3 is out on early release. #OrangeCon.” Cast member Uzo Aduba also chimed in on Twitter with a tweet that read “The entire season @OITNB is live on @netflix right. NOW. Enjoy! #OITNB #OrangeCon #321GO.”

This early launch coincides with the OrangeCon event currently ongoing in New York City. That event, by invitation only, includes panels that host cast members such as Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Natasha Lyonne, Lea Delaria and Uzo Aduba. Besides panel discussions, fans at that event were able to watch the first episode of the season as well as get autographs from the cast members.

Of course, this isn’t the first Netflix-exclusive series to premiere this month. Just a week ago, science fiction drama Sense8 launched on Netflix’s streaming service. Next month, Netflix will launch an original comedy series from Chris Tucker as well as the second season of animated series BoJack Horseman and the Wet Hot American Summer series.

It’s also possible that Marvel’s Jessica Jones will make an appearance on Netflix before the end of the year. Due to the rampant popularity of the Daredevil reboot on Netflix, it’s likely that the remaining Netflix shows planned by Marvel will receive high priority. Of course, those shows also have to fall in line with existing story lines in Marvel’s overall cinematic universe.

Netflix's You has shown fans that it can marry off a serial killer, but it can't keep a bad man down for long. (Warning, spoilers ahead.) Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) was trapped in a marriage with Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) a female serial killer who was even more bloodthirsty than he is. Even when they had a son together, Joe gravitated toward the more stable (and far less murderous) Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle). Ultimately, that meant Love had to die. But now Joe is a free man once more.

The new season of You will take place in London, as Joe pursues Marienne in a new country. Badgley and Gabrielle are the only cast members currently slated to return. Regardless, there's a new supporting cast this season. And we're willing to bet that more than a few will meet their end at the hands of Joe.

Netflix is testing out new charges for sharing passwords

If you've ever shared your Netflix password with anyone outside of your household, then there's a high probability that Netflix knows about it. And while Netflix has yet to ban the practice, the streaming service is taking new steps to monetize it. Via Netflix's official blog, Chengyi Long, the streaming service's product innovation director, announced that the company is testing out plans to charge an extra fee to accounts that share their passwords.

For now, the options are only being tested in three countries: Costa Rica, Peru, and Chile. The good news is that the early version of the fee comes in at under $3 in all three countries. However, Netflix will evaluate the results before determining whether to raise the fee or if the practice will be brought to America.

Ruth is out for revenge in Ozark season 4, part 2 teaser

For most of its critically acclaimed run, Netflix's Ozark has focused on Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) as they found themselves pulled deeper and deeper into the criminal underworld. But in the first look at Ozark's final episodes, Julia Garner's Ruth Langmore takes the spotlight away from the Byrde family. In the first part of Ozark season 4, Ruth vowed to get her revenge on would-be drug lord Javier "Javi" Elizondro (Alfonso Herrera). She may get what she wants, but there's no guarantee that she will make it out alive.

Netflix has dropped the first teaser trailer for Ozark season 4, part 2, which is narrated by Ruth, who shares her belief that her family is cursed. The Langmores are a criminal family, and Ruth doesn't pretend that they're innocent, or even that she is. Ruth has actively taken part in the family business. But after Javier murdered her cousin, Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan), and her business partner, Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery), Ruth told the Byrdes that they would have to kill her to stop her from avenging her loss.
