New Starz comedy Blunt Talk is making its debut online before its official premiere date. The series, which stars Patrick Stewart and Jacki Weaver, is now available on multiple platforms, including Starz.com and Facebook.

The show focuses on Walter Blunt, a British TV news anchor whose ego and behavior aren’t so camera-appropriate (think snorting coke and other debauchery), but make for some great R-rated humor. Starz is so confident in the show it has already committed to two seasons. Of course, the creative team behind it certainly must have helped make the decision; it comes from creator Jonathan Ames and will be executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, Fuzzy Door Prods, Tristram Shapeero, Stephanie Davis, and Ames.

Stewart is clearly excited about the early release, captioning the video on Facebook, “Waiting is over. Here it is! The premiere episode of Blunt Talk is streaming now! My character Walter Blunt’s behavior is a little embarrassing in this episode, but I am proud of the show.”

Stewart also tweeted the news, directing fans to Starz to get an early start on the series.

The decision to make Blunt Talk available for free streaming on social media was likely inspired by a rival premium network. HBO partnered with Facebook to show Ballers and The Brink on the social network just days after their June 21 premieres. Ballers, in particular, benefited from the move; the first episode was posted on star Dwayne Johnson’s page, which had almost 50 million followers at the time.

Blunt Talk‘s first two episodes are available for streaming now. The sitcom premieres on Starz on August 22 at 9 p.m. EDT (8 p.m. CDT).
