Back in June, Olivia Munn posted a video featuring the X-Men: Apocalypse actress demonstrating her sword-fighting skills that also featured her boyfriend, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, making a cameo appearance. Rodgers is absent from the latest training video posted by the actress, but the recording does feature Munn engaging in some impressive footwork in preparation for her role as a telepathic ninja in the film.

Captioned “Drop kick it like it’s…” the short video runs through several sequences in which Munn unleashes a flurry of kicks directed at targets held by her training partner.

Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse casts Munn as Psylocke, a mutant telepath who’s able to create deadly “psychic blades” that she uses in combat. The character has a convoluted past in the X-Men comics, debuting in 1976 as the telepathic twin sister of U.K. superhero Captain Britain, only to later take over the body of a Japanese ninja.

While the film will likely simplify her origin story, the videos posted by Munn so far suggest that the character will retain her considerable martial arts prowess in the film.

Along with Munn, the film stars returning cast members Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult as Magneto, Professor X, Mystique, and Beast, respectively. Rose Byrne will also reprise her role as Moira MacTaggert, along with Lucas Till as Havok, and Evan Peters as Quicksilver. Munn is one of several newcomers to the franchise that also include Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, and Lana Condor as Jubilee.

The film’s titular villain, Apocalypse, will be played by Oscar Isaac.

Described by Singer as the conclusion of a trilogy that began with 2011’s X-Men: First ClassX-Men: Apocalypse wrapped principal production last weekend. The film hits theaters May 27, 2016.
