The cast for the sixth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones keeps getting bigger.

The latest addition to the live-action adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s fantasy series is Danish actor Pilou Asbæk, according to EW, who will play Euron Greyjoy in the hit show. Given how crazy things have become for House Greyjoy over the last few seasons, it seems reasonable to expect Asbæk will see quite a bit of action in the upcoming season.

In the world of Martin’s novels, Euron Greyjoy is the oldest of Lord Balon Greyjoy’s younger brothers and the uncle of Theon and Yara Greyjoy. The captain of a massive warship named “Silence,” Euron leads a crew of sailors who have had their tongues ripped out by their captain.

In the HBO series, Balon is played by Patrick Malahide, while Theon is played by Alfie Allen and Yara is played by Gemma Whelan.

Along with a role in Scarlett Johannson’s 2014 sci-fi action film Lucy, Asbæk had a recurring role in The Borgias television series. He is set to play Pontius Pilate in the upcoming remake of Ben-Hur.

Asbæk joins a notable set of additions to the cast of Game of Thrones for the upcoming season. Deadwood and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides actor Ian McShane was cast as an unidentified character back in August, and Oscar-nominated actor Max von Sydow (The Exorcist, Minority Report) joined the cast as the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven just a day later.

Set to run at least eight seasons, Game of Thrones is currently in production on the sixth season, with the ten-episode block scheduled to air next spring.

Game of Thrones is based on George R.R. Martin’s series of A Song of Ice and Fire novels, which have sold more than 60 million copies worldwide as of April 2015. Martin is currently writing the sixth chapter of the series, The Winds of Winter.

Can’t get into Throne and Liberty? New server cap limits may help
A group of fantasy warriors fighting a golem in Throne and Liberty.

Amazon's latest MMO Throne and Liberty released at the start of this month, but players have had a harder time getting in and playing than they did clearing old-school Naxxramas. The game has reached player counts of 300,000 at peak since its first day, but the servers have been overwhelmed by the load.

Many players report that they're unable to create a character or transfer servers. Considering that everyone has access to free server transfers twice a day during this launch window, not being able to take advantage of this perk kind of puts a damper on things. According to PCGamesN, Amazon Games has raised the character creation limits on select servers to make it easier for new players to join and existing players to transfer.

Every upcoming Game of Thrones spinoff you need to know about
Ser Duncan the Tall walks in a village in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

HBO's Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, wrapped up its second season earlier this month. The series isn't expected to return with its third — and apparently penultimate — season until 2026, meaning that viewers may have another two whole years to wait before they finally get to see House of the Dragon start delivering on some of the major moments that it has spent its first 18 episodes setting up. That doesn't, however, mean that Game of Thrones fans will have to wait two years to return to the franchise's fictional fantasy world.

On the contrary, HBO has a number of other Thrones spinoffs in development in addition to House of the Dragon season 3, including one that is filming right now. It may not, in other words, be long before viewers get to start making a lot more frequent return trips to Westeros, as well as the seas and lands that surround it.
