2012 Honda Civic Concept photos

Honda revealed its new 2012 Civic Si coupe and sedan concepts at the 2011 Detroit Motor Show. The re-design of what will be the ninth generation of the Civic will make the car smaller, lighter and more efficient. The new design offers a bolder, sleeker appearance than past Civics, yet still retains the style of earlier models. Buyers will have plenty of options when the new line of Civic becomes available in the spring. Along with the conventional sedan and coupe models, Honda will also offer “Si” performance versions along with hybrid and natural-gas variants. Hybrids will feature a new lithium-ion battery cell, and gasoline models will use Eco-Assist to help less-efficient drivers get better fuel economy.

The coolest concept cars of all time

Automakers have recently become lazy in that regard, and these days concept cars are often little more than an upcoming production model decked out with cameras in lieu of door mirrors, big wheels, and shaved door handles. It’s unfortunate, but thankfully some brands still know which strings to pull to mesmerize us as we walk the floors of the world’s largest auto shows. Read on to learn more about some of the coolest concept cars of all time.

2020 Honda Civic Sedan Touring

When someone tells us they need "just a car," our answer is usually either the Honda Civic or the Toyota Corolla. Odds are you've owned one, driven one, or at least ridden in one, and their ubiquity isn't random. Both are dependable, value-packed, affordable, and safe, and the 2020 models are smarter than they've ever been.

On one end of the spectrum, they're quick; the Honda Civic Type R packs over 300 horsepower. On the other, they're efficient; the Corolla Hybrid returns 53 mpg in the city. Here's how these two hot-selling models compare on paper.
