Samsung 32-inch ViewFinity S7 LED 4K monitor — $329 $400 18% off
Another great option if you’re looking for a budget 4K monitor with a much larger screen is this 32-inch monitor from Samsung. While you only get a $71 discount, it does come with a lot of great features, such as 350 nits of brightness, 99% coverage of sRGB, and an eye-saver mode to protect your eyes.
Samsung 32-inch M70C Smart Monitor — $299 $600 50% off
You can get a lot of screen real estate with this 32-inch smart monitor by Samsung. It will pair nicely with almost any laptop or desktop PC, but it also has smart TV capabilities built in. You can get live TV through Samsung TV Plus and access to streaming services is also available.
Asus ProArt 27-inch 4K monitor — $367 $400 8% off
It isn’t offering a particularly substantial discount, but the Asus ProArt 27-inch monitor is one a lot of shoppers with newer laptops might love, and it’s very well priced even when it’s not on sale. It has USB-C connectivity that can charge a laptop while simultaneously acting as a display, which allows you to simply set up your workspace with a single cable.
Samsung 32-inch M80D Smart Monitor — $598 $700 14% off
In the past few years, Samsung has made the concept of a smart monitor more popular, with the M80D being one of the latest versions. This 32-inch monitor can function both as a monitor and as a TV, and you can even get some basic work done without switching a computer on. This discount of slightly more than $100 makes it a great deal.
Dell 32-inch G3223Q 4K gaming monitor — $600 $700 14% off
This gaming monitor from Dell is good for $100 in savings for Black Friday. It checks in at 32 inches and offers 4K playback at 144Hz. You don’t have to be a gamer to enjoy this monitor, however, as the screen real estate it has to offer can come in handy if you multitask across several software programs at a time.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 32-inch curved 4K monitor — $999 $1,300 23% off
One of the higher-end gaming monitors you’re going to find out there, not only is this 32-inch Samsung Neo G8 curved, but it can also hit a whopping 240Hz refresh rate. While there isn’t a GPU out there that can manage 240Hz at 4K, you can prioritize refresh rate over resolution for competitive games, and with discount of just over $300, it’s well worth grabbing.
LG UltraGear 32-inch OLED 4K monitor — $1,000 $1,400 28% off
This deal on the LG UltraGear 32-inch 4K monitor is one of the best we’ve found in terms of savings, as it offers $400 off and a $1,000 sale price. That may be too expensive if all you’re after is some screen real estate, but if picture quality matters to you, the LG UltraGear’s OLED display may be worth it for you.
How to choose a 4K monitor on Black Friday
While 4K monitors have generally become much more common, it’s still worth considering whether you want one in the first place. For starters, if you’re doing any sort of gaming, most modern GPUs aren’t going to be able to handle 4K resolutions at more than 100Hz, and even that will likely require either an RTX 4080 Super or an RTX 4090. And for those who don’t mind running at a lower resolution or are wanting something for graphic design, you’ll still have to aim for a mid-to-high-end GPU, which can certainly add to the cost. Of course, you don’t need the best GPUs, even for a good 4K monitor, as long as you’re willing to compromise, but it’s worth considering.
If you’re more interested in having a 4K monitor for watching movies, then you don’t really need a high-end GPU, and at that point, what you mostly want to consider is things like the viewing angle and how bright the monitor can get. 350 nits of peak brightness is pretty good, but that means you won’t be able to put it anywhere that has direct sunlight. Also, even though there is a form of HDR for monitors, it’s not the same as HDR for TVs, and tends not to be as good on monitors, mostly because they can’t hit the brightness needed to run HDR properly. Again, some outliers can manage it, but they are rare and cost thousands of dollars.
How we chose these 4K monitor Black Friday deals
Luckily, there are enough options for 4K monitors out there that we can be discerning about what deals we choose to put on this list. Generally speaking, our focus tends to be split into two things, both of which are on a relatively equal footing. The first is making sure to make suggestions for monitors we actually think are good, which we know from our experience as reviewers and folks working in the tech industry, so we can tell pretty easily whether a monitor is worth grabbing or not.
The second aspect is to find the best deals possible so that anything you grab is at its lowest price. The goal is to get you the best bang for your buck so that you’re buying with confidence and know that you’re investment will be worth it.
