How to choose an Alienware gaming laptop on Black Friday

When it comes to any purchase, it’s a smart move to immediately consider your budget. How much can you afford to spend on your new Alienware gaming laptop? It’s possible to spend just $1,000, but it’s also possible to spend $3,000 or more, so it’s important to think about what you can afford so you don’t get lured into spending more money than you need to.

From there, think about the choices between AMD and Intel. Both make the best processors around, but it’s important to read up on the differences between the two. Other than that, stick with 16GB of RAM for the cheaper gaming laptops and 32GB or 64GB if you can afford it. Similarly, higher numbers with storage and the GeForce RTX graphics card is always wise.

On a more personal level, think about what size screen you want. An 18-inch display looks fantastic but it makes the laptop bulky and not exactly portable. It also impacts battery life. Aim for a 14-inch display and it’s much more portable, but it won’t look as good for that desktop replacement style experience. Only you really know what will work best for you. At least if you go with Alienware, you’re getting something from one of the best gaming laptop brands.

How we chose these Alienware gaming laptop Black Friday deals

How we choose the best Alienware gaming laptop Black Friday deals is a little simpler than you might think. Thanks to Alienware making some of the best gaming laptops over the years, you can’t go wrong with anything from the brand.
