Dell Signs Australian Retail Deal

Dell Signs Australian Retail DealDell is continuing to make a real retail presence. The latest deal, with Australian company Officeworks, will seeDell’s computers, printers and monitors available in all 104 of Officework’s retail stores across Australia, open up the market. Dell products were already available in 13 stores therevia sales kiosks. Dell products have been available by direct sales in Australia, but this broadens the market, continuing the strategy begun by Michael Dell when he returned as chief executive inearly 2007, after the company had lost its top sales spot to HP. Ed Williams, Dell’s South Asian general manager for consumer sales and marketing, said:"Today’s announcement gives customers the option to call, click or visit and have access to Dell’s award-winning products in Australia. While we continue to see growth in our online business inAustralia, we recognize that some people want to touch and feel our products first. Our partnership with Officeworks will enable them to do this before buying a computer that meets theirspecifications."

Black Friday’s best PC hardware deal is still live, and you’re sleeping on it
The Ryzen 5 7600X sitting among thermal paste and RAM.

I'm not mad, just disappointed. A couple of weeks ago, I covered the insane deal that essentially allowed you to score a Ryzen 5 7600X -- still one of the best processors you can buy -- for just $105. At the time, I thought, surely, this will sell out in a matter of hours. Who would pass up on a deal this good? And yet, two weeks later to the day, the craziest deal I've seen during all of Black Friday and Cyber Monday is still live on Newegg.

Let me break down the deal again. You can get the Ryzen 5 7600X for $225, which is not a good price. However, you can get an additional $30 off by using promo code DLCDZ342, bringing the price down to $195. The kicker is that you also get a free Team Group MP44L 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. That's a $90 hard drive that Newegg is just throwing in with a CPU that's already available for a decent price. The fact that the deal is still live suggests either Newegg has a ton of inventory, or not enough people know about this sale.

Save $110 on the always reliable Dell Inspiron 15 laptop
The Dell Inspiron 15 at a side angle while showing an image of a man and a ball.

For one of the most affordable laptop deals around, look no further than the Dell Inspiron 15. Usually a respectable price of $380, it’s even less expensive right now, dropping to $270 for a limited time only. Perfect for simply typing up documents on the move, studying, or relaxing on the couch with a laptop, here’s all you need to know about it. Besides being good for adults, we also think it would make a great gift for a child seeking their first laptop.

Why you should buy the Dell Inspiron 15
At this price, you might worry you’re not buying quality, but Dell is one of the best laptop brands so you’re in good hands here. With the Dell Inspiron 15, you get a basic but highly functional laptop. It has a 12th-generation Intel Core i3-1215U processor along with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. None of that is particularly impressive, but it’s a strong mix with no obvious weak points in this price range. You simply wouldn’t expect more RAM at this price, for instance.

The Dell XPS Desktop on a desk next to a monitor.

For one of the best remaining Cyber Week computer deals, head to Dell right now. Currently, you can buy the a Dell XPS Desktop with GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card for $600 off. Normally $2,345, it’s down to $1,745, which is a great price for a desktop PC that is fairly well suited for gaming. All you need is to add one of the best monitor deals and you’re all set. Here’s what this desktop has to offer.

Why you should buy the Dell XPS Desktop
Well suited for gaming as well as working effectively from home, this Dell XPS Desktop is packed with great hardware. It has a 14th generation Intel Core i9-14900K CPU, which is the CPU that I personally considered kitting out my new gaming PC with. It also has 32GB of memory and 1TB of SSD storage. Best of all is its Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with 12GB of dedicated VRAM. That all makes for a PC that is perfect for gaming even if it doesn’t look like a gaming PC. This is easily one of the best desktop PCs around. The only consideration I’d make for gaming is wishing there was more storage space, but that’s easily added at a later date.
