Discord has been infiltrated by malware that has the potential to steal users’ email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, IP addresses, and more. The malware affecting the gaming-centric online chat app is being called “Spidey Bot." Twitter user MalwareHunterTeam first brought attention to the malware on October 9.

The Discord Nitro Games catalog will be shut down on October 15 because not enough members are interested in the library of free titles. Discord Nitro subscribers who are not happy with the pending discontinuation will be able to request a refund for their $10 per month membership.

Discord is hugely popular chat app for gamers, but the company is seeking to move into selling games as well.
