Fujitsu is hoping to add a splash of color to notebook computer users’ lives by introducing three colorful new lids that snap onto its budget-friendly LifeBook A1110 computers. Fujitsu says the A1110 is the only computer currently on the market that ships with interchangeable lid covers, and now users can switch up their computer’s look for $19.95 per cover.
The three new covers are a green labyrith design that recalls “mod” art from the 1960s, a pink lid with butterflies, and a blue Victorian-esque print pattern.
The LifeBook A1110s feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors, a 15.4-inch display, up to 40 GB of RAM, DVD writer, integrated Web cam can microphone, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi wireless networking, Ethernet and model, SD and ExpressCard slots, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and a spill-resistant keyboard. The systems ship with Windows Vista (320- or 64-bit) and start at $799.
