HP Debuts Eco-Friendly Desktops

HP has taken the wraps off two new desktop PCs the company is touting as not only up to 45 percent more efficient than equivalent PCs without power management technology, but they also ship in recyclable packaging that’s easier on the environment.

“The Phoenix and Verde desktops represent HP’s ongoing efforts to innovate and design for the environment,” said HP’s VP of marketing for worldwide consumer PCs John Cook, in a statement. “HP is committed to offering consumers and businesses computing alternatives that can reduce energy consumption and lessen their overall eco-footprint.”
