Microsoft has released details about its Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 that should arrive between February and April 2009, CNET reports, but it’s more cagey about a release for Vista Service Pack 2, claiming it hasn’t even begun beta testing yet.
In a statement, Microsoft said:
"Microsoft is working on a second service pack for Windows Vista… and Windows Server 2008. Service packs are part of the traditional software life cycle — they’re something we create for all Microsoft products as part of our commitment to continuous improvement. And, as is standard, Microsoft is continuously having conversations with key stakeholders, prior to broadly distributing test builds. We will share more details in the coming months."
However, a blogger has said that the company is now recruiting testers for the beta Service Pack.
