One of the best Chromebook deals around is on the ageing but still classy Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2. Over at Best Buy you can snag it for $399 when it ordinarily costs $699. A considerable saving of $300, you get a stylish looking Chromebook that is easy to take around with you between classes or on your commute. If that sounds tempting and you don’t need anything too powerful, take a look at everything else we have to say about it below.

Why you should buy the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2

Released in 2021, we were impressed by the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 overall, but considered it a downgrade from the original Galaxy Chromebook. Things like a rock solid design and responsive and quiet keyboard are good, ageless features. It may not be one of the best Chromebooks any more, but it’s still a winner at this price.

There’s a 10th-generation Intel Core i3 processor teamed up with 8GB of memory and 128GB of eMMC storage. Of course, none of this is gaming-PC-speedy, but for a Chromebook it’s fairly powerful. The highlight here is the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2’s screen. It has a 13.3-inch QLED display, which at the time of launch made it the world’s first QLED Chromebook. It looks great with 100% color volume ensuring a superior experience than you’d get with other Chromebooks. It’s also a touchscreen for any time you want to get more hands-on with your work, and you can even add any USI pen if you want to perform precise movements and enjoy great pressure sensitivity.

It has Smart Amp audio, which provides sound up to 178% louder than normal amps. It also has battery life of about eight hours, and the backlit keyboard and wider keys make typing up documents much simpler and comfier.

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 is ideal for anyone who wants a Chromebook that’s a cut above the rest without spending hundreds.

Usually priced at $699, the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 is down to $399 at Best Buy right now. Take a look for yourself by tapping the button below, and bear in mind that stock is sure to be very limited.

Lenovo knocks $1,080 off one of it’s best Chromebooks
ThinkPad C14 Chromebook

While Windows laptops are great, they tend to be quite pricey if you want to grab something that's more powerful and can handle more tasks. If you don't want to spend that much cash, one other great option is to grab yourself a Chromebook since it runs on ChromeOS and is a lot lighter than Windows. One great example is the ThinkPad C14 Chromebook from Lenovo, and there is even a solid deal directly from Lenovo that knocks the original $1,559 price down to just $479. That's a significant $1,080 discount on the usual price, and while Lenovo sometimes overestimates the MSRP value of its laptops, this is still an excellent deal regardless.

Why you should buy this ThinkPad C14 Chromebook
Something that's pretty unique about this configuration of the ThinkPad C14 Chromebook is that it comes with an Intel Core i7-1265U vPro processor under the hood and a mid-to-high-end CPU that's probably more powerful than ChromeOS needs. Still, that means that you can pretty much do anything with this ThinkPad C14, and it will handle the job, making it a great option for productivity or school work, while the 14-inch FHD screen means that it's easy to carry around with you. Even more impressively, it comes with a fingerprint reader, so it's great for those who need multi-factor authentication to do work or access files. You don't have to carry an external reader or key, saving you a bit of extra carrying space.

Snag this excellent 2K gaming PC for just $1,899
ibuypower RDY Y60 005 gaming desktop

If you're not that inclined to build a PC from scratch, then buying a pre-built gaming PC makes a lot of sense, especially since there are a lot of great deals now that more than make up for anything you would lose for not building it yourself. One great example is the RDY Y60 from iBuyPower, a solid gaming desktop from a boutique maker specializing in interesting builds, and the best part is that it has quite a significant discount on it for a configuration that comes with an RTX 40-series card. Instead of the usual $2,349 the RDY Y60 goes for, you can snag it for just $1,899, which accounts for a solid $450 discount. Also, if you use the code IBP25YR, you can get an extra $50 discount, or up to $300 if you spend up to $3,999 on an iBuyPower PC.

Why you should buy the RDY Y60 gaming desktop
One of the most important parts of any gaming desktop is the GPU, and in this case, you get the excellent RTX 4070 Super, which straddles the line between performance and price. This is actually the perfect 1440p GPU since you're going to be getting between 60-100 fps with ultra settings, depending on the game. You could theoretically push it to 4K if you want to pair it with the latest and best gaming monitors, but you likely won't see more than 55-60fps, at best, and you may need to have to play around with graphical settings.
