Yahoo And AOL Back On Again?

Back in March Yahoo was in talks with AOL. The reports were that Yahoo would take over AOL’s advertising business, and in return AOL parent company Time Warner would put money into Yahoo.

Then came the much-publicized debacles with Microsoft and Google, both of which have come to nothing, in spite of Yahoo head Jerry Yang saying a renewed Microsoft deal would be a good idea.

But now, according to Bloomberg, there are rumors that Yahoo and AOL have revived their earlier discussions, which could offer a brighter future. Yahoo has received one boost this week, when T-Mobile announced it would tap its search for the web2go service.
