Creative Earphones Eliminate Outside Noises

Creative Technology last week unveiled new in-ear earphones they say eliminate 90 percent of ambient noise for more accurate and detailed audio playback. The new Zen Aurvana In-Ear Earphones are priced at $99.99 and should be available now in Singapore.

The Zen Aurvana In-Ear Earphones, said Creative, weigh a mere 13g and are constructed of a double-injected enclosure with a high-gloss finishing. The in-ear design is reportedly capable of blocking 20dB of ambient noise. Other features include balanced armature sound drivers; ergonomic, soft contoured silicon earbuds with varied sizes and included accessories such as an airplane adapter, cleaning tool and travel case.

“Zen Aurvana In-Ear Earphones are perfect for travelers who want all of the enjoyment of listening to music without annoying background noise, or the fatigue and discomfort of cumbersome headphones and poor-quality earbuds,” said Joseph Liow, General Manager of Creative Labs Asia, in a statement. “The ZEN Aurvana earphones are so comfortable and lightweight, and they leverage Creative’s decades of audio expertise to deliver the full audio quality and clarity potential from any portable audio or media player.”

Yet within that majority, more than half either believe that SDV safety issues can be addressed or that SDVs will actually be safer than humans.
