The GoPro Hero9 bundle is so good that we need to break it down a little. Right now, you can buy a GoPro Hero9 direct for $400 and you get a free battery and 64GB SD card. Even better though, you can pay just $350 and you get the same GoPro Hero9, a 32GB SD card, extra battery, floating hand grip, magnetic swivel clip, and a one-year subscription to GoPro. It’s arguably the best deal you’re going to find for the GoPro Hero9. Not only are you paying $50 less but you’re getting a ton of accessories plus a year’s worth of GoPro membership. The only downside is tiny in that you get a smaller SD card it’s worth the tiny drop in capacity (and you could always buy an extra one anyhow).
In our GoPro Hero9 review, we admired that it had a front screen, a larger rear screen, a better battery than before, and could take 24MP stills. It’s a little bulkier than the Hero8 and we weren’t particularly taken by the need to take 5K videos but for the price, it’s a great option. Crucially, we couldn’t think of a better alternative than this one if you want an action camera. It’s an easy recommendation to make to everyone except for those who have a GoPro Hero8. Obviously, that deal is even sweeter this Cyber Monday with the added extras for less.
