The long holiday weekend is here, and Memorial Day sales are in full swing. There are a host of great deals out there, and we’ve uncovered a great one on

Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones at Best Buy

which will save you a ton of money.

Normally $350, Best Buy has marked down these headphones to just $278 through Memorial Day. That price is one of the better deals we’ve seen so far on the WH-1000XM3’s, and if you’re in the market for a new pair of headphones, a great option to go with. These headphones perenially make our list of the best wireless headphones on the market today, and for a good reason.

The WH-1000XM3’s are Sony’s third-generation flagship wireless headphones, offering outstanding noise-canceling, audio quality, and comfort. They’re also our editor’s choice in wireless headphones, and all for a good reason.

Sony’s LDAC technology is what makes these headphones so great-sounding. The company claims that LDAC can transmit sound at three times the quality of standard Bluetooth, and while we can’t verify that number, we can tell you these headphones do sound better than your typical run-of-the-mill Bluetooth headphones.

Its noise-cancellation technology is some of the best we’ve encountered, with only the Bose Noise Canceling 700’s able to beat it. But Bose lags the WH-1000XM3’s is in sound quality, so we’ll take that compromise.

But the noise cancellation in these headphones is still damn good. You can choose how much sound you let in and what kind of sound. One nifty feature is “voice only,” which can block out all exterior sound except for the human voice, which we think is pretty helpful for those of us who wear these for extended periods, but still need to know if someone’s talking to us.

Touch controls allow you to navigate volume, make calls, and play and pause music with ease, while not compromising the beautiful design of these cans. And you can listen for more than a full day without a recharge — Sony claims 30 hours of battery life, and our tests verified that this is not just a marketing ploy.

Better yet? If you run out of juice, just 15 minutes of charging will give you an additional five hours of listening time. That’s pretty impressive. All in all, you just can’t go wrong with the Sony WH-1000XM3. These are the best wireless headphones you’ll find on the market right now — that is until the WH-1000XM4’s come out.

Our favorite headphones, Sony WH-1000XM5, are $70 off today
Woman wearing Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones.

With how loud and crowded the world has gotten, having a solid pair of headphones to keep all the noise out can be really helpful. When it comes to active noise cancellation (ANC), our pick for the best headphones on the market is the Sony WH-1000XM5, which easily competes with the likes of the AirPods Max. That said, the XM5s can get really expensive, which is why we're happy to see this deal on Amazon that brings the price down to $329 from its original $400 price, saving you a solid $71, which may not seem like much, but it's a great amount for one of the best headphones you can grab.

Why you should buy the Sony WH-1000XM5
There is a lot to love about the Sony WH-1000XM5, and the excellent audio fidelity is one of them. Ironically enough, it has smaller drivers than the previous generation, and yet it still manages to upgrade the audio quality with a balanced overall sound and a surprisingly great bass response that makes it thumpy but doesn't muddy the sound. Realistically, you can pretty much listen to any genre of music you want on the XM5s, although it does slightly favor those who prefer a more neutral sound rather than something a bit more bass-heavy.

Give your loved ones the gift of online privacy this holiday season with DeleteMe
DeleteMe visual with computer

Did you know, that at any given time, everything you’re doing while online is being tracked, collected, and collated? Data aggregation companies called data brokers take all the information they collect about you, your family, and other people, and then sell it for a profit. Outside of the ethical concerns of that process, one major issue is that it leaves you vulnerable. That information can be easily exposed, purchased, or acquired by nefarious actors. It might then be used to send you loads of spam emails, robocalls, and phishing attempts, and may even contribute to identity theft attacks. Scary stuff. But there are services, like DeleteMe, that help you recover, remove, and take back control of your online privacy and data.

Thanks to a Black Friday and holiday deal you can protect yourself and anyone you care about, for less. DeleteMe is currently 25% off and it would make the perfect gift for your loved ones this holiday season. Why? Because the reality is that everyone's data is being collected and this service can help remove that information, keep it from being reuploaded to databases and offer extra layers of protection against phishing, identity theft, scams, and more. They deserve privacy and security just like you, and you can be the one to gift it to them.
