Batman: Arkham Knight is set to arrive worldwide on June 2, 2015, for PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One.

Along with the release date for the next chapter in the Dark Knight’s increasingly-open world saga, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive also revealed two collector’s editions. The Limited Edition includes an art book, a SteelBook case, a comic book, an exclusive New 52 character skin pack, and a Batman statue (plus the game), all for $100. The Batmobile Edition includes all of the above, but substitutes a transforming Batmobile for the Batman statue, for $200.

This capstone to the trilogy that Rocksteady Studios began with 2009’s classic Arkham Asylum will finally deliver on the promise of an open and complete Gotham City. Expect bone-crunching melee combos and gadgets aplenty. The Batmobile will also finally take center stage as a versatile keystone of Batman’s high-tech arsenal that will help you quickly traverse Arkham Knight‘s huge map and send baddies scattering along the way, along with a variety of other interesting uses.

Bringing Helldivers 2 to Xbox eventually isn’t such a bad idea
Four soldiers walk in front of a blue Super Earth flag in the Helldivers 2 trailer.

It bugs Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer that Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment's Helldivers 2 is not on Xbox. In a recent interview with Game File, Spencer stated that he's "not exactly sure who it helps in the industry by not being on Xbox," even though he understands that "there's a legacy in console gaming that we're going to benefit by shipping games and not putting them on other places."

That raises a good question: Should Helldivers 2 come to Xbox Series X/S? No plans for that are announced at this time. Although Spencer is likely saying Sony should do this because it would line up with Microsoft's current strategy, I don't think it would be such a bad idea once we're a ways out from this console exclusive's launch. At the very least, the wild success Helldivers 2 has seen on PC proves that PlayStation may benefit from eventually releasing more of its games on other platforms. The company already seems keenly aware of that, too.

Gotham Knights players are reporting that the game is no longer playable on Steam following the latest software update.

Fans took to social media outlets to complain about the problem that began last night, when they downloaded an update with a patch that would improve keyboard issues, co-op gameplay problems, and overall game stability -- all complaints that cropped up since Gotham Knights launched last week. According to PC Gamer, the patch temporarily removed controversial anti-piracy software Denuvo on Wednesday, but when it was patched back in 15 hours later, the update rendered the game unplayable.
