The PlayStation Plus edition of Driveclub has been delayed due to ongoing server load issues with the already released PlayStation 4 version, the game’s director Paul “Rushy” Rustchynsky confirmed with an extended explanation on Facebook.

Players have had trouble getting online because the servers are apparently being pushed “to their absolute limit.” The PS Plus edition and My Driveclub app have been held off to lighten the server load while the developers scramble to alleviate the problem.

“We fully appreciate how frustrating this is for everyone,” Rustchynsky apologized. “We want you to get online with your club because racing, challenging, and having fun together is what the game is all about. We know that racing with your friends online is what you’ve been waiting for and we are doing everything we can to deliver that experience to you as soon as possible.”

This new delay is just the latest in a series for the game that was supposed to be a PS4 launch title. There is no word yet on when the eventual PS Plus release will be, but the developers promise regular updates on their progress.

Now, PS Plus is divided into three different tiers of subscriptions. The basic tier, PS Plus Essential, still gets three games per month added, while the Extra and Premium tiers will have a varying number of games added to their catalogs monthly. With hundreds of games already and more coming and going all the time, even the most dedicated gamer won't be able to play everything on offer. To help you get the most bang for your buck and so that no hidden gems fly under your radar, here are all the best games to play on PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium right now.

As is usually the case, everyone with the lowest tier of PS Plus gets three games for the month: two with PlayStation 5 versions and one with a PS4 version. Here's what you can play in October:

The PlayStation 5 has streamlined many aspects of the gaming experience, but there's been a bit of confusion here and there in terms of navigating its menus and settings. Gameplay is great, but no one tells you how to use the PS5 web browser or how to customize your PS5 controller button layout.

One of the ways in which Sony's latest console can be a bit strange is in how it hides away your library of purchased games. No worries, though, as we'll tell you how to find all of your purchased PS5 games.
