What to expect from Sony’s E3 2018 press conference
Sony will take a decidedly different approach to E3 this year. Its showcase will focus on extended looks of four upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusives. While that means there may not be many surprises (perhaps none), at least we know we'll learn more about a few of Sony's most anticipated games.
‘Tetris Effect’ updates a classic, will come to PS4 this fall with VR support
Enhance Games and Sony announced Tetris Effect during a special pre-E3 event. The game serves up Tetris in gorgeous environments like underwater and space, and it supports PlayStation VR. The game arrives this fall, and a demo will be available prior to its official launch.

‘Hitman 2’ logo leaks ahead of Warner Bros. pre-E3 event
Shortly after IO Interactive and Warner Bros. shared similar teasers about the Hitman franchise, a logo for "Hitman 2" was uncovered on a Warner Bros. site. Although not officially confirmed, it certainly seems as if a proper sequel to 2016's Hitman will be unveiled on June 7 at Warner Bros. pre-E3 event.
Microsoft’s E3 sale includes the first discount on the Xbox One X
Microsoft is temporarily slashing the price of the Xbox One X for the first time during its E3 sale. The premium console will be available for $450 -- 50 bucks off from June 7 until June 23. Xbox One S consoles will also drop 50 bucks, and more than 300 games will be on sale for up to 75 percent off.
Sony won’t wait till E3 begins to start revealing upcoming games
Sony will host a series of pre-E3 streams from June 6-10. During the streams, Sony will announce a release date for one of its upcoming first-party titles, reveal two new PlayStation 4 games, a PlayStation VR title, and unveil PSVR support for an eagerly anticipated game.

A teaser trailer for the unannounced post-apocalyptic shooter Rage 2 has been released. The live-action footage is set to Andrew W.K.'s "Ready to Die" and gives us a taste of the game's world. The first gameplay from the sequel will be shown by publisher Bethesda on May 15.

SIE Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden has revealed that Sony's E3 press conference will focus on four previously-announced games, including The Last of Us: Part II and Death Stranding. The other games that are getting extended looks are Spider-Man and Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima.
