All Fortnite season 2 weekly challenges

Epic Games has released Fortnite chapter 2, season 2 after months waiting. The long-anticipated season has already shifted the game significantly, changing up the map, adding helicopters, and offering a limited-edition Deadpool skin for players to unlock. Even the normal weekly missions changed this season in a major way.

Themed Fortnite season 2 challenges

Similar to the missions from season X, the season 2 challenges are themed around something new every two weeks. Fitting into the spy theme that is at the heart of this season, there are five bosses who are both on the island to fight and leading the weekly tasks.

Every two weeks, battle royale will shift to focusing on another boss who is also a skin you can get in the season 2 battle pass. Completing nearly all of the challenges that a particular boss has will give you the chance to change that skin.

This guide is going to list all of the missions throughout this season and guides for how to do them, starting with season 5 and updated weekly as the new objectives arrive in the game. You can find the previous weeks below.

Fortnite week 5 challenges

Week 5 is the start of a new boss cycle with the kitty secret agent Meowscles. This fan-favorite spy is giving the missions for the next couple of weeks, leading up to his skin variant. You can find all of the week 5 objectives below:

  • Search for three treasure chests at Misty Meadows or Salty Springs
  • Eliminate five players with assault rifles from at least 50 meters away
  • Consume fish to gain 400 health or shields
  • Deal 200 damage to players while using the creeping cardboard item
  • Survive a fall from at least five stories high nine different times
  • Deal 100 damage to henchmen with pickaxes only
  • Visit Coral Cove, Stack Shack, and Crash Site in a single match without swimming
  • Kick a soccer ball 100 meters
  • Deal 400 damage to players with miniguns
  • Visit Shipwreck Cove, Yacht, and Flopper Pond

The 10 tasks this week are surprisingly difficult, really making players work for the rewards. One of the most challenging missions is to visit three different locations all in the same match without swimming.

Three landmarks mission tips

For this challenge, players need to visit Coral Cove, Stack Shack, and Crash Site — three landmark locations on the map. The twist with this particular mission is that this is hard mode, so you will need to visit all three in a single match to complete it. In addition, you can’t swim at all in the process or your progress won’t count.

With such an insanely difficult task, there are some tips that can help you do it. First and foremost, we highly recommend, even more than usual, that you do this in the Team Rumble game mode. It has more time, fewer enemies, and, most importantly, respawns. Even if you die trying to visit all three, you can keep going when you respawn.

Lastly, you are going to need a vehicle for this challenge or a lot of materials. All three locations are on islands, and the catch is that you can’t swim. Your best bet is to find a motorboat or helicopter first, so you don’t end up accidentally swimming. You can use materials to climb over the water, if necessary, but this is a last-resort option as it will take much longer.

You can find the location of the three landmarks above along, with detailed descriptions of their locations below. The following progression is the order we recommend you go in. This is because it is a natural progression that doesn’t require backtracking or anything else that would waste time in this highly time-sensitive task.

Crash Site

Crash Site is on the large island west of Pleasant Park and north of Sweaty Sands in the C2 square on the map. Here, you will find a large plane crash site.

Coral Cove

Coral Cove is the second destination you should head to after the Crash Site. It’s on an island northwest of Sweaty Sands and southwest of the Shark. It is the island in the A2 square, directly west of the previous one.

Stack Shack

Stack Shack is on an island slightly northwest of Holly Hedges. It is in the A4 square and is the last in a string of tiny islands. There is a dilapidated shack alone on this island.

Week 5 challenge rewards

Completing this mission will grant 40,000 experience points, which is the same for all week 5 objectives.

Week 6 challenges

The sixth week of Fortnite missions include 10 new tasks for players to complete. They are mostly minor variations on the standard tasks that released this season, but one of them is particularly difficult.

You can find the full list of all 10 new objectives this week below.

  • Search for 10 treasure chests at Frenzy Farm or Steamy Stacks
  • Deal 1,000 damage to players using only assault rifles
  • Open a treasure chest within 10 seconds after landing from the battle bus
  • Deal 200 damage to players while riding in the new Choppa vehicle
  • Catch a weapon, a can, and a fish
  • Eliminate five players at the Yacht or Salty Springs
  • Destroy three dog houses
  • Block 100 damage with a decoy grenade
  • Dance at Lake Canoe, Camp Cod, and Rainbow Rentals
  • Ride the air at Steamy Stacks, use a zipline, and go through a secret passage all in the same match

Like with earlier weeks in season 2, there is a major task that requires you to visit three landmark locations that aren’t easy to find. In the case of week six, that challenge is to dance at Lake Canoe, Camp Cod, and Rainbow Rentals.

Dancing challenge tips

Before we jump into the locations of the three dance spots, there are some tips that you should keep in mind. Like always, this is a mission that benefits best from completing in Team Rumble. You get the max amount of time to use toward finding all three locations and dancing at them.

One of the key points here is that you must dance at these locations. Just visiting them or landing at them like in similar missions in season 2 won’t do here, so be sure to grab your favorite dance or emote beforehand. Keep in mind that you don’t have to do all of them in the same match, so feel free to take your time if you need to.

But if you do want to get them over with as fast as possible, be sure to grab one of the new Choppa helicopters around the map. This will help you get to the three spots much faster and easier as they are spread throughout the battle royale island.

You can find all three general locations on the map above. In addition, details about the specific locations of them and where you need to be are found below.

Lake Canoe location

Lake Canoe is a small lake north of Retail Row in the G5 square on the grid-based map. There are several canoes scattered around here, and all you need to do is dance while at the lake.

Camp Cod

Camp Cod is a small town landmark in the southeastern corner of the map, south of the snowy mountain range and southeast of Misty Meadows. It is in the G8 square.

Rainbow Rentals

Rainbow Rentals is a string of colorful houses on the beach southwest of Holly Hedges. They are in the A6 square.

Week 6 challenge reward

As always, the reward for completing the dance mission in week six is the same as other weeks. You will get 40,000 experience toward the season 2 battle pass.

Week 7 challenges

In week 7 of season 2, Epic Games released the Skye’s Adventure missions for players to complete. For two weeks in a row, Skye became the penultimate character to have the spotlight as challenge host. As with every week prior to it, there were 10 new tasks to complete. You can find all of them below.

  • Search for seven treasure chests at spy bases
  • Deal 400 damage to players with either SMGs or pistols
  • Mark an uncommon, rare, and epic item
  • Collect 75 of all three material types within 60 seconds of landing from the battle bus at the start of a match
  • Hide in a cardboard box at the box factory
  • Consume 10 foraged items at Weeping Woods or the Orchard
  • Visit the Shark, Rapid’s Rest, and Gorgeous Gorge
  • Escape a vault using a secret passage
  • Visit three of Skye’s coastal campsites
  • Pull another player or henchmen toward you with a harpoon gun

Skye has some very interesting objectives for players to complete in week 7. One of the most important tasks is visiting the Shark, Rapid’s Rest, and Gorgeous Gorge. For week 7, we will show you where to find all of these locations on the battle royale island.

Week 7 challenge tips

Before we jump into the locations of these three spots on the island, there are some tips that you should keep in mind for making this task easier. First and foremost, you don’t have to visit all three places in the same match. Some of them are far from one another, so it is understandable if you want to focus on one at a time.

However, if you do want to complete this as fast as possible, we recommend you grab one of the Choppa vehicles around the map as this will save you a lot of time and let you easily get to all three locations.

Like usual, we also suggest the Team Rumble game mode for this mission as it allows for more time, fewer enemies, and respawns in case you stumble upon a foe.

Check our map screenshot above for the general spots of all three locations. For detailed descriptions of where to find them, check out each individual spot below.

The Shark

Easily the easiest of the three spots we need to visit this week, the Shark is one of the new named locations in season 2. But if you don’t know where to find it, check the map and look in the northwestern corner of the island. It is a small shark-shaped island in the B1 square on the grid.

Rapid’s Rest

Rapid’s Rest is much harder to find since it is an unnamed landmark. It is on the eastern outskirts of Lazy Lake near the river where you’ll find a car. Find it on the edge of the F6 and G6 squares.

Gorgeous Gorge

This landmark is actually close to Rapid’s Rest. Head northwest of Lazy Lake along the river until you reach the waterfall. The area near here and below the waterfall is Gorgeous Gorge.

Week 8 challenges

In week 8 of the Fortnite Skye’s Adventure challenges, there are 10 new tasks for players to complete. You can find the full list of them below.

  • Search for 10 treasure chests at landmark locations
  • Eliminate three players with an SMG within 15 meters of them
  • Hit five consecutive weak points while harvesting materials three separate times
  • Fly a Choppa helicopter under the purple, red, and blue steel bridges
  • Stoke a campfire, consume a foraged apple, and consume a foraged mushroom
  • Land at the Shark and visit the Agency all in the same match
  • Hit 10 pistol headshots on other players or NPC henchmen
  • Search for Skye’s sword in the stone in five high places
  • Block 200 damage with a Kingsman
  • Bounce on a crash pad in three different matches

For week eight, we have some really bizarre objectives that we have never seen before. One of those is to search for Skye’s sword in the stone, King Arthur-style, in five different places. That particularly difficult challenge is going to be the crux of what we cover in this guide, as it can be really tough to find all of the specific locations.

Skye’s sword in the stone tips

What’s important to note is that there are quite a few spots all around the season 2 battle royale map where her sword is stuck in a stone. In fact, there are way more than five spots for this task, but we are going to focus on the five that are closest and easiest to get to in the game.

Fortunately, you don’t have to visit five of these locations in the same match, but you do need to visit five different spots overall. If you are looking to get the most out of your matches, we highly recommend Team Rumble for this one as it allows for more time and respawns to keep looking for these stone locations.

Also, a Choppa will be your best friend when it comes to visiting these spots as none of them are that close to one another.

We are going to give you the five locations that are the easiest to get to. You can find them on the battle royale map above and detailed descriptions of their locations below. All five are in the northern half of the island, so your best bet is to land near Pleasant Park where a Choppa is found.

One sword in the stone is northwest of Sweaty Sands and southwest of the Shark on a small island. It is on the border of the A2 and B2 squares on the grid.

A second sword is northwest of Pleasant Park in the C2 square.

There is another sword near Pleasant Park but this one is on the opposite side. It is directly east of Pleasant Park and northwest of Frenzy Farm in the E3 square.

A fourth sword is found east of Craggy Cliffs on the border of the F1 and F2 squares.

Steamy Stacks

Finally, a fifth sword is south of Steamy Stacks and north of Dirty Docks in the H3 square.

Week 8 challenge rewards

Like always this season, the week 8 tasks give you 40,000 experience each for completing them. However, if you are able to complete nearly all of the objectives from weeks 7 and 8, you can unlock a new skin variant for Skye.

Week 9 challenges list

Fortnite Season 2 Week 9 Challenges

Week 9 of the battle royale missions is the second-to-last week of the normal challenges for season 2 of Fortnite. With only one more week to go, the new host of the missions is none other than Midas himself, the leader of the spies this season. He is the host of the final two weeks, and you can find the first batch of missions listed below.

  • Search for treasure chests in six different named locations
  • Deal 300 damage to players with sniper rifles
  • Upgrade a weapon to legendary rarity at an upgrade bench
  • Search a llama, legendary chest, or supply drop
  • Deal 100 damage to a Choppa with a pilot or passenger inside of it
  • Collect five experience coins
  • Carry a giant pink teddy bear found in Risky Reels 100 meters
  • Search for Midas’ golden llama between a junkyard, a gas station, and an RV campsite
  • Gather 10 intel in Spy Games matches
  • Earn three survival, combat, or scavenger gold medals

The 10 challenges in week 9 are very different from everything we have seen this season and have an understandable focus on everything gold. One of those tasks, in particular, is a difficult one that requires players to find Midas’ golden llama between three points.

Midas’ golden llama challenge tips

Before we get started, keep in mind that this challenge isn’t like previous weeks where you are supposed to go to three locations. Instead, you are looking for the point where the junkyard, gas station, and RV campsite intersect. In this way, you don’t technically have to even know where they are if you have the solution.

That said, players who do want to figure out the middle point will need some extra time to visit all three locations, so Team Rumble is the best mode for that. In addition, a Choppa might be useful for this since you do have to visit all three locations within the same match if you want to figure out this puzzle.

Lastly, this is a complicated puzzle since the golden llama is typically hidden from your view until you are basically right on top of it. You will need to know the exact location of its point in order to find it and collect it to complete this objective. Fortunately, that’s where we come in.

We are going to go over all three locations individually in case you do want to solve this on your own and also offer a solution afterward for those who just want the experience from this mission.

Junkyard location

Fortnite Junkyard Season 2

First off is the location of the junkyard. All three spots that we will head to are just east of Frenzy Farm. This junkyard is east of it and the large river in the G4 square. This is the first point that you need to remember in order to solve this puzzle.

Gas station location

Fortnite Gas Station
Image used with permission by copyright holder

Like the junkyard, the gas station is east of Frenzy Farm and is a popular destination we have visited a lot this season. It is also in the G4 square but is found northwest of the junkyard across the river.

RV campsite location

Fortnite RV campsite
Image used with permission by copyright holder

The third and final location is the RV campsite. Following the trend of the other two locations, this one is east of Frenzy Farm; however, it is in the G3 square. It is northeast of the gas station across the river and northwest of the junkyard as well.

Midas’ golden llama location

Fortnite Midas Golden Llama
Image used with permission by copyright holder

Just figuring out those three locations doesn’t finish this task, though, as we need to visit the location in between all of them. In this case, the RV campsite is to the north with the gas station and junkyard to the west and east, respectively.

This makes a clear triangle with the center point being in the G3 square right above the main road there but before the large bridge. What you will find here is a small building. Head inside and you will find Midas’ golden llama head on the wall. Simply interact with it and you will finish this mission.

Week 10 challenges list

Fortnite S2 Week 10 Challenges

The 10th week of Fortnite battle royale missions is here. Hosted once again by the king himself, Midas, these are the final batch of normal challenges for season 2. Though the season is set to go on for over a month more until June, there will be no more standard weekly tasks for players to complete after this. You can find the final 10 regular missions for this season below.

  • Eliminate players with an assault rifle, shotgun, and SMG
  • Search a treasure chest in seven different matches
  • Eliminate a player or NPC henchman with a legendary or boss weapon
  • Heal teammates for 200 health with a bandage bazooka
  • Dance within 10 seconds of knocking down a henchman three different times
  • Find five different golden pipe wrenches
  • Catch three fish while riding in a Choppa
  • Deal damage to a player or henchman at both the Yacht and the Agency in the same match
  • Visit the Agency, the Hayman, and Greasy Graves all in the same match
  • Deal 100 damage to henchmen while disguised

The final challenges that Midas has for everyone this season are decently varied, even if they are similar to just about everything else this season. That said, one of the most difficult tasks is to visit the three locations in the same match. We are going to help you do just that.

Agency, Hayman, and Greasy Graves tips

Before we jump into this challenging mission, there are some tips that will greatly help you out as you go to do it. For starters, it is key that you do this mission in the Team Rumble game mode. After all, we aren’t just visiting these locations, but we have to go to all three of them in the same match.

Team Rumble will make sure that you have ample amount of time to visit the three locations and offer respawns in the off chance that you do get eliminated while trying to check them out. In addition, there are fewer enemies overall, so there will be less competition vying for the same objectives that you are.

That said, though, the most important tip that you should keep in mind is that this is extremely doable in the same match if you do one particular thing: Get yourself a Choppa vehicle. These helicopters that were added near the midway point of the season are basically required for this task.

While you could possibly do it on foot, we wouldn’t recommend it as we were already more than halfway done with our match by the time we were able to visit all three and that was using a Choppa to find them. This also allows you to bring some friends with you to complete this mission together and watch each other’s backs.

Better yet, with the Choppa, there is a strange glitch of sorts that lets you complete each location just by hovering over them in the vehicle and not having to land at all. Simply fly over each spot we have for you and you are good to go.

Fortnite week 10 challenge locations

As always, we have the three locations that you need to visit in our handy dandy map of the island above. You can use that for the general areas of where to visit each spot, or alternatively, use our detailed descriptions below for screenshots of what the places actually look like, which is especially useful for players not using the Choppa to find them.

The Agency location

The Agency Week 10

The Agency is by far the easiest spot in this mission as you likely already know where it is. After all, it is the only one that is a named location, so you can find it on the island map. The Agency is the named location at the very center of the map that acts as the headquarters for the spy agents. There is a Choppa here that you can grab, so we recommend landing here first.

Hayman location

Fortnite Hayman
Image used with permission by copyright holder

The Hayman is a landmark spot that is slightly northeast of the Agency and southwest of Frenzy Farm. It is a huge man made out of hay and is found in the E4 square on the grid-based map.

Greasy Graves location

Fortnite Greasy Graves
Image used with permission by copyright holder

Last but not least, the final location of Greasy Graves is southwest of the Agency, in between Holly Hedges and Weeping Woods. This hard-to-find spot is the resting place of the Durr Burger head from chapter 1. It is in the C5 square.
