Fortnite challenge guide: Visit different restaurant kitchens

One of the final challenges you’ll likely go for during Fortnite season 5, week 14 requires you to visit two different restaurant kitchens. While the process of visiting these kitchens isn’t too difficult, there are a few things you need to know about completing the challenge. For starters, since this one is stage four, you must complete stages 1-3 before being able to go for this challenge.

The first one is for collecting cookbooks across Pleasant Park and/or Craggy Cliffs, the second one is for gathering eight fruits and/or vegetables (visit the farm to the north of Colossal Coliseum for this), while the third one requires you to collect 150 gold bars (which can be done by completing a bounty). After you’ve completed the aforementioned stages in that order, you’ll have the ability to complete stage 4 — visiting two different restaurant kitchens.

In total, there are four scattered around the map. You don’t need to visit two in the same match, though depending on where you land and the path of the storm, you can complete this challenge in one game. Either way, this guide will walk you through visiting different restaurant kitchens in Fortnite.

How to visit different restaurant kitchens

Fortnite.gg

There are four restaurants across the map, which are displayed in the map above (thanks, Fortnite.gg). Ideally, you should boot up a Team Rumble match, visit the closest restaurant’s kitchen, then die so you can respawn in the air. After that, you can hit the second restaurant to complete the challenge.

Where you land will depend on the path of the Battle Bus at the start of the match, but we found it easiest to visit Sticks (at Craggy Cliffs) and Pizza Pit (north of the Colossal Coliseum). Remember, you must visit two different locations for this to count. You can’t go to one spot, quit the match, and visit the same location again, unfortunately.

Below are the locations of all four restaurants.

Sticks is found on the north end of Craggy Cliffs.

Pizza Pit is located by the farm, north of the Colossal Coliseum.

The Butter Barn can be found south of the Zero Point in the center of the map. It’s worth noting that we were unable to get credit for this one, despite visiting it multiple times. It’s possible it’s bugged for the time being, so perhaps you should stick with the other three spots.

Durrr Burger

Finally, Durrr Burger is found west of Weeping Woods. This spot is out of the way but is usually safer since it’s a lower-traffic area.

After you’ve visited the kitchens of two restaurants, you’ll gain credit for completing the challenge and 40,000 XP.

Fortnite’s overhauled battle pass system will make your life easier
The Device event in Fortnite Chapter 2

Fortnite players will see a big change to how they gain experience starting in December. Epic Games announced Monday that it's simplifying progress so that players can earn experience toward all three battle passes at once.

This battle pass for the battle royale portion already works like this: You can earn experience to progress through the battle pass track by playing in any Fortnite section. However, this wasn't the case with the Festival and Lego passes for Fortnite Festival and Lego Fortnite, respectively. That's changing after the current seasons and passes end later this year.
